verbatim, from Google
“Yindee has been my favorite sushi restaurant for 2 decades. I would always get the Yanki with crab rangoon and the satay. Sometimes a noodle dish. I have tried sushi at other places and it is just not the same. So when I went past it on the bus the other day and saw that the “open” sign and the tables were gone, I knew my favorite place has closed. Sad day. I will miss the kind lady who took the orders and always remembered mine and the amazing sushi chef.”

“Seems to be permanently(?) closed, furniture is gone inside, and there is no signage with more information. Phone and website and disconnected. Very sad, we loved this place for takeout!!”

“Just a few blocks from our house, Yindee always serves very good food. Sushi, noodles, rice, whatever, it's always tasty delicious, quick and inexpensive. It's a shame to see so few customers on a Saturday night. It's well worth your visit.”

“เราสั่งบะหมี่หมูแดง(ปรุงน้ำต้มยำ) ผัดสุกี้แห้ง กับชาเย็น บะหมี่น้ำซุปกลมกล่อมอร่อย ผัดสุกี้รสชาติเผ็ดจัดจ้าน Authentic ร้านเดินทางสะดวกมาก ๆ ติดสถานีรถไฟ”

“Very fresh sushi (banging hamachi 10/10. Tasted like fatty hamachi which I love.) and a very unique dish I have never seen before: fried salmon skin sushi (fabulous choice for people who don't eat raw food). Make sure if you like it spicy you say extra spicy cause they tend to dull down the spicy for most customers. If you don't they have extra spicy sauce on the side though. Very delicious noodles 8.5/10. BYOB! Beautiful restaurant. The front entrance foyer has tons of anime stickers like stickers to take wonderful photos in front of. The bathroom is clean and well maintained. Great for a date night (low lighting). Great entree portions”

“We were feeling desperate for really fresh Thai noodles and so many places we have gone to have disappointed us. They are either inconsistent, way overpriced, or highly overrated. Yindee was absolute perfection! Freshly cooked noodles. Perfect seasoning. The right vegetables, generous portions. Heaven! Prices were good enough to come back often. The only downside is when there is a Cubs game going on. Parking would be impossible so you would need to walk or take public transportation. The L train is right there. We have been back many times and they are very consistent with quality and taste. We had Beef Lard Nar and Chicken Pad Kee Mao.”

“This place was a delight. The service was a bit slow however it was worth it! They took their time and truly created a masterpiece.”

“Great tasting freshly made authentic food. You will not regret eating there.”

“The prices are good, the atmosphere lovely, and the food delicious. Compliments to the chef! Whoever arranged our plate, if they ever decide to leave the restaurant business, could have a good career pursuing modern art.”

“Great Thai food close to Wrigley Field. Service is impressive. Clean restaurant in a good location. Street parking would be difficult during a Cubs game though.”

“Get to know their menu. Many great selections. Affordable sushi. Excellent curries. Pad Thai is sweet. I avoid it. Catfish is in a hot sauce that will make you an addict. Miso and all the soups are miraculous. Next to Brown line. Go.”

“Sister and I saw this place while driving, decided to try it out. It’s so calming inside and the waitress was very nice. The food ? Amazing, best PadThai I have ever had. The avocado rolls were so good, and the spring rolls covered in plum sauce were super delicious. Definitely coming back again.”
