“First time trying Yama Sushi Bar. I was in the area looking for something quick to eat, so I called ahead for pickup & the process was super fast and easy. My order was ready right when I arrived. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Philly roll and the spicy salmon roll, and both were amazing. The rolls were fresh, flavorful, and generously sized. Everything tasted so good that I already can’t wait to come back and try more items on the menu. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great sushi and quick service!”

“A local treasure! Amazing food and a welcoming staff. You can tell the owners and staff care about the product they sell, the food is fresh and you can taste the quality. I’ve been to Momotaro and other highly rated sushi restaurants in Chicagoland, and Yama stands toe-to-toe with them all - I’d even say better, especially for the price. I’d recommend anyone in the Chicagoland area come give it a try!”

“Yama Sushi Bar a hidden jewel 💎 in Oak Park has the finest fish and most creative sushi in the area. It’s not your typical sushi restaurant as they offer quite a bit of authentic Japanese cuisine. They have a variety of menu options and I was pleased of the large portion sizes that matched the price. Inside, is also pleasant and clean. You can really tell the quality of a sushi joint when it does not smell of fish. They earned my highest recommendation.”
“Amazing sushi. Service is fast, attentive, and polite. Food arrives quickly and I’ve never had any issue getting a table even at peak times. Prices are not cheap, but reasonable and totally worth the food. A true hidden gem in OP!”
