“Consistently delicious. Been here a couple times now. Thick ramen broth is on point 👌🏼, not too salty. Generous portion of perfectly cooked, tender chashu. I ordered the modern tonkotsu and asked for their chili oil on the side. Always a pleasant service. Chill, casual atmosphere. I recommend this place and will def return.”

“Easily the best ramen spot in Evanston, and honestly, the entire North Shore. Nothing else even comes close. Swung by last Friday evening. The weather was just cool enough to call for a hot bowl of comfort, and Table to Stix delivered big time. Started with the Ikageso Karaage, fried squid tentacles. Perfectly crisp, tender inside, and full of flavor. Exactly what you'd hope for. My wife went with the crispy chicken buns. Light crunch, savory, solid heat balance. Both starters were on point. For the mains, I went with the Classic Tonkotsu ramen, deep, rich broth, noodles with just the right bite, and the pork belly practically melted. No shame, I inhaled it. My wife had the Shoyu Prawn ramen, briny, clean, and layered with flavor. She was equally impressed. I know there’s been some noise around this place lately, but let’s be real: every solid restaurant hits a bump here and there. What matters is how they respond and Kenny, the owner, owned it with humility and real effort. That’s rare. This place isn’t just about great ramen. It’s part of the community. You feel it the second you walk in. Warm, welcoming, and run by people who give a damn. Looking forward to coming back again, and bringing friends.”

“Went to Table to Stix for the first time and definitely will be back. The ramen was really good and had a lot of flavor without being too salty like some places. The Brussels sprouts were honestly one of the best things we ordered. It was super crispy and addictive. The chicken karaage was also really good and crispy on the outside while still juicy inside. The restaurant itself felt cozy and relaxed, and the staff was friendly the whole time. Overall just a really solid spot if you’re craving ramen in Evanston.”

“What began from a ramen craving and a spur of the moment pick (it was the closest ramen spot when I was in the area), turned out to be a happy accident! I came during a slow time, so I was seated right away and the staff was so kind. I had Bao Buns, Crab Rangoon and the Modern Tonkotsu Ramen — everything was delicious and filling! Would definitely come back next time I am in Evanston.”

“High-Quality Craftsmanship Ramen with Attention to Detail and Authentic Japanese Ingredients. I stumbled upon this hidden gem by chance during lunchtime, and I was blown away by how exceptional their ramen is. I prefer lighter soups over rich, fatty pork-based broths, so I usually go for shoyu ramen. (I have only ordered shoyu ramen, so this review is based solely on that.) Their broth is perfectly balanced—flavorful yet not overpowering—and served in just the right amount. The noodles are cooked to perfection and beautifully presented in the bowl. The way they arrange the noodles is meticulous, ensuring a neat and visually appealing presentation, which enhances the overall dining experience. The finely chopped green onions are another standout, cut so precisely that they reminded me of ramen shops back home. It’s a small but meaningful detail that reflects their dedication to quality. One of my favorite discoveries was their choice of seasoning: the authentic Japanese S&B pepper I grew up with. This finely ground pepper, perfectly blended with garlic, adds a nostalgic and flavorful touch that elevates the ramen even further. This restaurant is a hidden treasure, where attention to detail and authenticity come together to create an incredible meal. On a snowy, cold day, nothing beats the comfort of a steaming bowl of ramen from here.”

“This place is EXCELLENT! Love the Ramen there. The place is well decor and cozy Love the decorated and service there.”

“This is far better than Chicago ramen. People should visit here more often!”

“This place started my love for ramen. I was stationed in Great Lakes for two years and would try and get to this place at least once a month. I now, live in Kentucky and have literally made a 7 hour commute just to have people eat here ! This place is my favorite place I’ve ever eaten Ramen at. The place is small, and quiet, service is excellent but the ramen is even better! If you’re in or around Evanston you. Have. To. Try. This. Place. You won’t regret it. I promise”

“I'm from out of town in ND. A friend brought me here and it's wonderful. Hopefully I'll return when I'm back in town.”

“Ordered the classical one and the soup is pretty thick. Could give more sides considering the price.”
