This used to be our go-to whenever there was a special occasion or friends were in town.

“From A5 wagyu crowned with caviar to perfectly balanced hand rolls, each course was a nod to precision, restraint, and joy”
Surprised by the high rating here. Quality of seafood is high, the experience is subpar.
“It was such an intimate and unique experience.”
It was such an intimate and unique experience. Crit, the Chef was so interesting and gentle. An artist who took pride in his craft. The drinks were delicious and The host, i forgot his name, was engaging and really made it a special experience. It ruined regular sushi for me forever!

“There is no sign.”
There is no sign. No kitchen. No menu. Just six seats, seventeen courses, and one unforgettable evening behind the door marked 202. This is not a sushi dinner. It is a hidden experience disguised as one. You walk down a hotel hallway and enter what feels like a secret clubhouse for those who know how to eat well and live better. Chef Chris is an artist disguised as a chef. Every piece he served was deliberate and elegant. From A5 wagyu crowned with caviar to perfectly balanced hand rolls, each course was a nod to precision, restraint, and joy. The Omakase is not rushed nor rigid. Want an encore of your favorite bite? They will oblige. Want to linger afterward and spin some vinyl from the corner record shelf? That is encouraged. McKenna, our bartender and drink guide, struck the perfect balance of warmth and knowledge. She offered us tastings to help us discover the right sake and introduced us to Japanese whiskeys that made us rethink our preferences. It is intimate without being stuffy. Elevated without taking itself too seriously. This is Omakase for people who enjoy storytelling, craft, and the kind of memories that start with “Remember that sushi dinner in the hotel room?” Pro tip: bring someone who appreciates the details. The rest will take care of itself.

Always a great time here. Chef was a lot of fun, team was all wonderful, drinks were great and I especially loved being able to select more pieces to buy at the end. Juan was amazing as well. Super attentive and helpful! Ps the spanish mackerel was 10/10.

“McKenna and Ivan are the best.”
McKenna and Ivan are the best. Personable, great memory, and always a positive influence on my day. I don’t know why I always come to sushi suite during pivotal moments in my life, but today, on the day I said goodbye to my beloved Melfina, I came to sushi suite to celebrate life. I figured if I could bake fresh fish for my dog, I could enjoy fresh sushi for myself after taking good care of her in the last weeks of her life. If you are here, enjoy your time. Life isn’t always just about joy. There is beauty in the life and death of all creatures, and something sacred about the quality of fish you pay for at sushi suite 202. The attention to each cut of fish is the same, though each chef’s tastes and technique are different, with regard to the quality and specific characteristics of each fish. Whether you are happy, sad, looking to impress, celebrating, starting something new, sushi suite will attend to you. Best wishes. Xoxo Melfina, you will be missed.

“Perhaps being overly critical but when prepay is required for an expensive meal, it should live up to the expectation.”
Perhaps being overly critical but when prepay is required for an expensive meal, it should live up to the expectation. While the experience was great from intimate speakeasy vibe to cocktails and presentation of nigiri, fish-to-rice ratio were inconsistent, which is glaringly obvious when they served back to back immediately. Otherwise, it is a great spot for a date night especially if cocktails are appreciated.

“Had an amazing experience here.”
Had an amazing experience here. Max the chef was very knowledgeable and approachable. The quality of the fish was very high and the order selection was great. We noticed that as he was preparing the nigiri, if certain slices didn't meet his standards he would put them aside and cut new ones

This was one of the coolest experiences my husband and I have ever had. From the moment we walked in, the service and atmosphere were top notch. Our sushi chef, chef Alex, served up the most amazing sushi. We cannot wait to do this again!

“My husband and I went to celebrate our one year anniversary and it was such a fantastic time.”
My husband and I went to celebrate our one year anniversary and it was such a fantastic time. It was intimate, fun and most importantly some of the best sushi I've ever had. For a memorable night or a special occasion it was worth the price. Only thing we won't be doing again is the date night package, I'd rather just order a cocktail of my preference instead of random options.
