Sushi-san — one of Lincoln Park's strongest japanese spots. Contemporary look with thoughtful details. Solid drinks, with the bar pulling its weight. "The roasted edamame was perfectly seasoned and addictive, and the seaweed salad was fresh and flavorful" — Najwa Steele

“Sushi-san is hands down my favorite sushi spot in Chicago.”
Sushi-san is hands down my favorite sushi spot in Chicago. I’ve been many times, and it’s one of the few places that’s consistently excellent every single visit. The fish is always fresh, the rolls are creative and delicious, and no one can compete with their crispy rice. The service is quick, and the music and atmosphere are a total vibe. Sushi-san never misses, and it’s a place I keep coming back to again and again.

“This place is great for happy hours.”
This place is great for happy hours! Keep coming back here a couple times a year and during the winter time we walked in and didn’t even need a reservation but we did have one just in case. We got their spicy and salmon rolls and the third eye vision cocktail which is like a lychee martini. We had to come and try their handrolls as well which was perfect. We got their combo 4 which was a great deal.

We’ve been to the River North location multiple times but the Lincoln Park location is so beautiful! Absolutely adored it! Food is always consistent and good and the staff was wonderful! We got the 3 handroll pack, beef n bop, and the d-luxe nigiri set. All delicious! This may become our new favorite location :)

Awesome food. I liked the nut salad with crispy rice that was recommended by the waiter. Took my kid and wife here. Great time. I felt this was a nice night to celebrate the holidays, the day before Christmas eve.

“This place can do no wrong.”
This place can do no wrong. I absolutely love everything about sushi san. Food is just divine, the atmosphere is stunning, and the people are amazing. Highly recommend the spicy tuna crispy rice, the noodle salad, and the spicy tuna roll. Try out the soy paper and cucumber roll options!

“We came to Sushi-San for lunch because our friends had been hyping it up.”
We came to Sushi-San for lunch because our friends had been hyping it up. Turns out, they were right. The food was fantastic and so much of it was gluten-free friendly. We started out with the tuna crispy rice and it absolutely kicked things off. I was in a true sushi mood so I went for the 8 piece nigiri. They make one substitution because one of the salmons has gluten in the sauce but it was great. I’m not normally a California roll guy but the lobster California roll was also delicious. We closed it all off with the beef n bop which is a great closer that really fills you up. It’s plenty of food and great to share so I’d highly recommend. Pound for pound, dollar for dollar, Sushi-San was one of the best eats in all of Chicago.
