Sushi by Bou- Fulton Market Chicago @ Emily Hotel — among the best japanese in Fulton Market. It gets busy, and that's part of the appeal. The bartender knows what they're doing. Kristie Hull: "The sushi was hands down some of the best, freshest and most delicious sushi I have had the pleasure of eating"

The Sushi by Bou location at Fulton Market may be small, but the staff here have big energy! My boyfriend and I were welcomed by Tashon, Skye and Chef Jens who treated us to fun conversation and attentive service. The specialty drinks were really fun and taste great. The "Hollow Purple" was one of our favorites of the night. The sushi was also delicious and fresh, and any questions we had about the ingredients or preparation were happily answered. Overall an amazing experience for date night!

My partner and I went here for a birthday dinner and we were looked after by Jackie who was so unbelievably welcoming and attentive throughout the night. Our bartender Tashon was also amazing, he was extremely funny and we had a great laugh, the cocktails he made from the menu were fantastic. After we finished those, he asked what alcohol base I liked and from that created the most phenomenal drink which was exactly what I was looking for! Chef Zac was fantastic, he was so lovely and it was great chatting with him, the omakase experience he created for us will be one that we will remember forever. The food was just as good as what we experienced when travelling Japan. If we ever return to Chicago, we will be back !!!!

I went here for restaurant week and I enjoyed every bit of it. The sake cocktail was a great pairing and I also added on the ice cream which was delicious. Also, I would like to give tyshon (hopefully I spelled his name correctly ) kudos. He was so personable and made the evening so much fun. I’d loved to come back.

The most fun we've had in a restaurant in Chicago! Went during restaurant week for the omakase experience - each dish one after another was amazing. Mind-blowing flavors and such high quality fish. Especially loved the fatty tuna and BBQ eel. All the staff were so friendly and fun, made the experience all the more special and a big reason for planning to go back! Very cool to be able to watch the chefs prepare the food and chat with them during the meal.

We did the 12-course Omakase, and it was an amazing experience! Tashon was a great bartender, and the manager was very accommodating—always making sure everything was to our liking. The food was beautifully presented, fresh, and full of flavor. Excellent service, atmosphere, and overall experience! Love the speakeasy vibes!

What a spot!! The food was deliciously prepped by Tarn and the vibes were so well curated. All 4 of us were obsessed with the place and I would come back if I lived here. Our expectations were exceeded and highly recommend. Make sure you book a reservation as it is limited seating at this location I don’t eat meat and it was substituted with a yummy salmon

This is an Honest review for Omakase Level experience at the following price $150-200+ (We got the $150+ 17 Course option: 1. Food - Although taste is fine overall, the Courses lacks adequate portions and varieties for the experience 2. Service- Lack Attentiveness and Timing. 3. Atmosphere- interesting. Feels more like a nightclub than an Omakase Dining (Musics too loud, and the room is too dimmed). Again, at an Omakase experience for this price ($200+ including drinks) I recommend following alternatives if you're visiting Chicago: Sushi-San, Omakase Yume, and Aji.
