This is one of mine and my finances favorite spots. If you love hibachi, this is the BEST place to go in chicago. the waitress is so sweet too she was giving out gifts on valentine’s day and gave me a beautiful necklace. the food is always so filling, huge portion sizes and always fresh and delicious. they always make it perfect!! definitely make this your go to

I had an amazing time with my sister at Sumo! Our favorites were the Dragon Roll and Shrimp Tempura Roll! The service was incredible and staff was very welcoming and friendly. This is a great spot to stop for an intimate meal as we did not feel rushed to get out. But the service was also quick so I would recommend if you’d like to come for a quick lunch break! 10/10 in my book and I would highly recommend to anyone living in or visiting Chicago💗💗

The food here is always amazing. I got the chicken and steak hibachi dinner combo with a side of noodles and it was amazing. Seriously, amazing. The steak is perfectly seasoned, the chicken was amazing, rice is so good too. Everything is so fresh and yummy. Our server was so nice and kinda and very attentive. The restaurant was clean and tidy, you can tell they deep clean often. I will be back, I love this place.

A group of us went to Sumo Sushi and Hibachi after a long day of conferences and enjoyed every minute we spent there! I’m not a sushi/fish person, but the others in my group are and they loved everything they ordered. I did the chicken and steak hibachi combo along with the spring rolls and I thought all of it was delicious! Our server, Wesley, was super helpful and kind! Such a great experience during our stay and would go again.

This is by far one of the BEST sushi and hibachi in Chicago! The food and service was amazing! Super friendly, quick, and delicious. We brought my husband for his birthday and dressed up in our Halloween costume 😂 it was epic. Thank you for treating my family with so much care and love!

Ordered take out and it was amazing! Inside looks cute i would definitely dine in. Fish tastes fresh and the portions are a great size. Highly recommend the sexy jalapeño and spicy salmon roll!

Really good sushi and large portion sizes! We are not used to having large pieces of fish and veggies in our maki rolls, and we were pleasantly surprised. The sushi was very filling and the hibachi was similarly in very large portions. I highly suggest this restaurant if you are looking for plenty of delicious sushi at a reasonable price.
