Had a 10/10 experience here. The sushi chefs were super friendly and made the whole meal feel personal. The uni was the absolute highlight—fresh, rich, and honestly some of the best I’ve had. Everything on the plate tasted high-quality, and for the price, it was surprisingly affordable for the level of craftsmanship. Definitely coming back.

We stopped by this gem on the way into the city. We had several different sushi rolls/maki along with salad and appetizers. The sushi rolls were good. I especially like their tempura which remind me of what we had in Japan. It was crunchy without being oily. The place itself was rather small but nicely decorated. The decorations gave off Japanese vibe.

Been coming here for years and always get good service and food today I tried the Wasabi salmon which was phenomenal, a flavor bomb of joy. I typically get the fuji mountain roll or the bento boxes which are all really good. I don't think I've ever had anything bad from this place. The only con is this spot is kinda small so it will fill up fast on weekends or during dinner / lunch hours. Overall my favorite sushi spot in illinois 10/10 highly recommended

INCREDIBLE lunch bento value!!!! i couldn’t eat it all! the salmon teriyaki was perfectly seasoned and had greens. and so much veggie tempura!!! the salad had a peanut dressing that was very good. the green tea was very nice as well. i will be back to try more lunch specials, as well as the main sushi rolls. There is also an extensive alcohol menu with several sakis and cocktails. the establishment is very clean and all of the staff were friendly and nice.

Sen Sushi is a tad hidden off of Oak Park Street near Addis’ Cafe. It’s a clean no frills place that offers good amount of specialty rolls and great Sashimi and Nigiri sets. They don’t take reservations and it is small, but seems like turn over is pretty fast. Definitely a place to try if you want decent sushi this side of the burbs.
