First of all, a shout out to our server ZION (i think thats his name). Let me start with the arrival… I needed to UP the reszie by one so i came in while the fam shopped and the hostess was VERY accommodating. Then i got there early and had a martini at the bar and the bartender was fantastic. We sat down and had a great meal. After a long week, just wanted to share my experience. Thanks!!!

Phenomenal experiences of “omakase” - we got the premium set, which is more like 6 premium courses. Service is relatively quick, the server is super friendly and down to earth. I love the freshness of the fish and the flavors of everything else. The desserts surprised me as it’s not too sweet, which is perfect! The only thing was that the steak was a little too well done. Overall I’d say the meal was definitely enjoyable and worth the pricing!

We tried the decadent Omakase for a birthday celebration and it was a great experience! Everything was delicious and the 2 servers explained each course and the sauces that paired with it. It was a nice sampling of many different foods. You get much more than I thought and it's plenty even when sharing.

Roka Akor offers a delightful dining experience with its inviting atmosphere and exceptional cuisine. During our visit, we enjoyed the NY strip, ribeye, and skirt steak. While all the dishes were impressive, the skirt steak stood out as the best—remarkably tender and bursting with flavor. To top off the meal, we indulged in the lava cake, which was absolutely delicious. Overall, Roka Akor is a fantastic choice for a memorable meal.

Roka Akor in Old Orchard mall is one of the best sushi spots in Chicagoland. The food is phenomenal, though it can be pricey, sometimes costing up to $100 per person. Despite the cost, the quality is worth it. The attentive manager ensures excellent service, making it perfect for special occasions.

“Pleasantly surprised.”

Pleasantly surprised. I didn't do any research ahead of time, and just took a chance. Wow the sushi roll was out of this world. Crunchy prawn, seared wagyu, and trout caviar. The ramen with pork belly topped that even. It's all about the broth and wow, deep rich taste that I could smell how it would taste before I tasted it. Everyone in my party loved it, and said it was unique, and we go to a lot of ramen spots. Well done!

I don't give out 5 stars lightly! Incredible food, service, and atmosphere at Roka Akor. Bryan was a phenomenal server and even made our crazy way of ordering seem like no big deal. Loved this spot. Certainly returning on my next trip to Old Orchard.
