Jam 'n Honey
Jam 'n Honey — an american spot in Lincoln Park. Nothing about this place is trying to impress you, and that's the point. You're greeted like a regular, even the first time, and cash only. John Dlabal: "First the staff was incredible and service was so fast even for Sunday Brunch" [$$]

“Great food great place great service. Everything was phenomenal, will be back!!”

“Loved every moment, except for sitting next to the bathroom door, which folks slammed every time they used it.”

“Great breakfast place! The menu offers traditional breakfast fare as well as some options. Great service as well. It is a cash only establishment, so come with cash, or they have an ATM to use as well.”

“My brother and I went out to get some breakfast on a Sunday morning around 11 AM. Saw the pictures of the food beforehand, thought it looked amazing, and golly it held up to the expectations! My brother got a chicken and egg sandwich that he loved and satisfied him. I got blueberry pancakes, with some toast, and house potatoes on the side. All of it was very delicious, we appreciated that none of it it was too sweet. The staff was nice. The atmosphere simple. With the two main plates, two sides, and two cups of coffee, it totaled up to $50 — which we were happy with, especially with how full we were. This place is CASH ONLY. They do have an ATM. We were very happy with our experience and look forward to returning!”

“Nice quaint little restaurant with great food. Parking was a challenge but the good food and service made up for that. I think the price for breakfast for two people ($47) was a bit pricy.”

“This place is cash only, but they do have an ATM inside, which is helpful if you forget. The veggie burrito was pretty stuffed, which was great, though I found out after a few bites that goat cheese isn't really my thing (just a personal preference!). The French toast was really tasty, and the portion sizes were generous. You'll definitely leave with leftovers. The potatoes were my favorite part of the meal, and the outdoor seating was a nice touch. The staff was friendly.”

“I want to start off by saying our waitress was super nice and the service was quick! The interior is quite charming. Their mac n’ cheese was so-so but the chicken tortilla soup was delicious! This joint being cash only is a drag and being sat right in front the door made for a very windy/chilly meal.”

“The food was great, but the service didn’t live up to it. After being seated, we were initially helped, then told another server would take over. We waited about 20 minutes before anyone came back, while tables that arrived after us were already being taken care of. That’s concerning in my opinion. Ironically, the bill came out faster than anyone came to take our order.”
“Loved this place. Very friendly service and amazing food. Loved that it is small and family feel.”
“Pork belly hash was phenomenal and drip coffee was the best I’ve ever had from a diner. Great atmosphere to enjoy the company of others”
