Kanela Cafe never misses! The lemon blueberry pancakes were perfectly fluffy with the right hint of zest, and the beef filet hash was cooked to perfection…so flavorful and satisfying. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere is just what you want on a Sunday: cozy, bright, and relaxed. If you’re a brunch lover, this spot is a must. Pro tip: come hungry and definitely try both dishes!

One of my go to brunch spots chains! I like the Old Town location because it has outdoor seating and the indoor seating is super cute. They have a nice versatile menu with some Latino accents. In house chorizo. Yummy cocktails, fresh juice, and a full coffee bar. And they even have GF bread, even though it’s not listed on the menu.

Very solid. I had the chorizo and eggs and oh my that chorizo was plentiful and flavorful. Also enjoyed a bloody Mary that came decked out with a ton of trimmings and had a cortado which was very well done.

Kanela Breakfast Club in Chicago is a must-visit for anyone looking for a delicious and enjoyable breakfast experience. I eat here regularly, and I'm always impressed by the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious, some of my favorites include the monkey bread, the goat cheese omelette, and the blueberry pancakes. The monkey bread is a must-try - it's a giant cinnamon bun that's served warm and gooey. The goat cheese omelette is light and fluffy, and the blueberry pancakes are packed with fresh blueberries. In addition to the delicious food, the staff at Kanela Breakfast Club is also top-notch. Seriously the best! They're always friendly and attentive, and they go out of their way to make sure that you have a great experience. If you're looking for a delicious and enjoyable breakfast experience, I highly recommend Kanela Breakfast Club. You won't be disappointed.

Fantastic service, fast turnout, and tasty! Everything was served hot & fresh. The red velvet French toast, cheesy scrambled breakfast sandwich, and chicken & waffles were all equally delicious. The kids menu griddle plate for around $10 was also perfect for a 4 year old. Would recommend and also visit again, but do note that when it's busy, the ambiance is extremely loud so you'll likely have to yell if you want your partner to actually hear you.

Came here for breakfast with the family. Was easily seated outside for a Saturday morning. The server was personable and the food came quickly. Everything we had was pretty good, did a Cinnamon Roll starter. Had some fresh squeezed Orange juice, oat milk latte, chorizo and eggs, red velvet French toast, chicken and waffles, and a yogurt bowl. Though… for the yogurt bowl there is quite a lot of yogurt to the fruit ratio so know that going in. This is the third time we’ve ate a breakfast at a Kanela… the other two times in Wicker Park and both food and service has been great :)
