This amazing 1 yr old gem located near “Little Italy” at 24th Western is a MUST visit. The food, service and ambiance is beyond fabulous!!! ❤️ This is now one of my of my favorite places! I can’t wait to go back!! Definitely worth the drive or going out of you way for.

Unico is a worthy successor to Il Vicinato which occupied this Heart of Italy space for many years. I’d been a frequent diner in the 90’s and early 2000’s when IV was in its heyday. We had a fabulous evening! Impeccable and friendly service set the table for a remarkable meal. We started with fried calamari in a spicy/sweet sauce—good not great—which was followed by superb entrees. My wife had a perfectly cooked branzino filet while I feasted on a massive melt-in-your-mouth bone-in short rib in a zesty avocado sauce. We finished with an apple torte with ice cream that looked nearly too good to eat; we got over it and practically licked the plate. $25/bottle corkage fee Street parking is easy and a valet is available.

Reservations Made, we had a tremendous time! Family gathering with out of town in-laws. Party of 9. Every dish was plated beautifully. Will definitely be returning 😍🥂 My meal included: beet salad, Spinach Stuffed Gnocchi, and Homemade Cucumber Water. I did not have an alcoholic beverage but others did and were all pleased.

It’s one of the best restaurants we have been in the city! It’s definitely a hidden gem. Aesthetically, every food is an art piece. The taste is even better than the look. Our favorites are Costilla Unico, Branzino Filet, Shrimp Puttanesca, and more! It’s our second time here today and looking forward to the next visit!

This is a hidden gem! We came as a large group and the staff were very friendly and accommodating toward us. The food was very delicious and the margaritas pizzas are a must! Furthermore, the place looks very nice and clean + elegant. 5 stars!

Went to Unico for dinner with family the appetizer we got was great and my entrée the Spaghetti and Meatballs was delicious. Also loved the music being played and our service was excellent! It also wasn’t as busy as it deserves to be, I highly recommend.

Oh my GOSH! Everything was delicious! I wanted off to start with that!! We went to celebrate my brother-in-laws graduation and from the moment we entered ….the ambiance was exquisite. The care and attention we received was beautiful. The appetizers were delicious, the entrees were scrumptious, and the dessert was to die for. Truly so happy with our dining experience here and honestly we plan on coming back. For reference, personally I loved the shrimp tempura and chicken piccata! Our family loved the drinks and their food as well!

This weekend, we made a reservation for my sister birthday. Honestly, the best decision made, the place is elegant and very accommodating, not to mention the food, everything is delicious from the appetizers to the desserts. I ordered the Costilla Unico, Spaghetti Alle Vongole, and stuffed chicken breast. Without a doubt, Chef Elias makes astonishing dishes and his masterful work will have you coming back guaranteed 👌, their has a variety of desserts, and all of them are perfect! I 100% recommend it, the prices and portions are very reasonable. Our waiter was phenomenal and on point. The name of this place matches my experience, "ÚNICO"
