“Fun pizza night at Tortorice’s Pizza on Grand in West Town.”

Fun pizza night at Tortorice’s Pizza on Grand in West Town. The team was so sweet and Billy was super friendly which made the experience great. We got the veggie thin crust pizza and the deep dish with hot honey. The caramelized crust on the deep dish was really good and the hot honey added the perfect touch. The homemade mozzarella sticks were my fave of the night and the cheesy garlic bread and jalapeño poppers were delish. Love that they are BYOB and there is a parking lot which is amazing for the city. Also a great spot for groups with their party room.

“This place may not be in Little Italy, but the deep dish pies do not disappoint.”

This place may not be in Little Italy, but the deep dish pies do not disappoint! True Italian Deep Dish with tomato paste, tomato sauce, and stewed tomatoes makes the perfect sauce. Thick cheesey cheese, pick your toppings, and be prepared to use a fork and knife! These pies are so deep dish that they're not bite-sized pieces! Soft dough, easy to cut through, easy to chew, and all in all fantastic! I know the place was empty when we showed up, but had it been busy, I believe our wait time would have been the same. I do wish I remembered the woman who took our order at the register. We did not realize the place would close soon after we arrived. She was polite, told us not to worry, and she would have our pizza in time to sit and eat at least 1 slice each, then she would box the remaining up to go. I want to point her out in this review because she gave great vibes, good energy, and enjoyed her job. I am writing this review on 7/10/25 and she was there when we left right before close. Thank you for your great service! I do hope your boss see this review!

“Holy cow, this food is good.”

Holy cow, this food is good. Thin crust pizza truly steals the show - the sauce is damn near perfectly balanced. Cheese on the pizza and in the mozzarella sticks maximizes the pull factor. I will be back w more people and some beer. Didn't realize it was byob. Wings are slammin too. Naked was better than the sweet, gooey mango habenero sauce - thankfully, I got the sauce on the side.

“Awesome Pizza spot.”

Awesome Pizza spot! Tried the house made mozzarella Sticks which were 10/10. The wings were real good with house made ranch, recommend that too. They have multiple appetizers options including the previous too and jalapeño poppers as well! Tried their deep dish pizza and thin crust pizza, both were awesome and they sure weren’t hesitant with cheese so totally worth your money! Kiki was really nice and super quick with service! “Went here for a date 12/14/24.”

Went here for a date 12/14/24. It was about 430pm and there were only a couple of tables available. However the food was excellent! We had thin crust pizza my half had pepperoni, onions and green peppers. The mozzarella sticks were handmade. The salad i had was buffalo chicken greek salad with homemade dressing. All the food was excellent. It was a small but comfortable environment. I recommend this place for sure 10/10!

I’m kicking myself for not getting pictures of the mushrooms and mozzarella sticks—why? Because they were so good, I got too busy devouring them! Chi-town’s finest is the only way to describe this place. The pizza? Absolutely perfect—oh my goodness. The service, the BYOB policy, everything was just chef’s kiss. This review might be all over the place, but trust me: it was 100% worth it!

If you are not from Chicago, you may know Chicago as Deep dish pizza city. But locals, we like thin crust. And please do not called it Tavern style. Lets get this straight. Tortorice does thin crust right. Nice sauce, cruncy, good flavor. Its a solid place to get a pizza, should also try their homemade mozzarella. But the price...yea no word for it. It is expensive. Price is crazy on everything though. It is really hard to eat outside these days for sure. But if you want to grab good pizza for sunday football, this is definitely one of my top choices.

“I called to set up a party for Memorial Day weekend.”

I called to set up a party for Memorial Day weekend. I was lucky enough to get the owner, Billy, on the phone. I knew immediately my family, friends & I would be taken care of. Let me tell you, they did NOT disappoint! The appetizers & pizza were so delicious. The staff was incredible, especially Irene. We were able to bring our own beverages (beer, seltzers & whiskey). I would STRONGLY recommend Tortorice's for the fantastic food, service & the ability to BYOB. Billy is a delight to deal with. p.s. remind the staff to put an ice cream cake in the FREEZER not the fridge so that it doesn't melt like they melted mine.

“Great pizza and friendly.”

Great pizza and friendly. They are back open and the dining area is open again as well. The slices are massive and always fresh. Lots of space to dine in but I always have had take away. The restaurant is always clean as well every time I’ve been here. Owner is very friendly and a nice guy. Thanks again!
