“This place is wonderful.”

This place is wonderful! I got the fried Burrata and it was absolutely delicious. The food is very fresh and the portions are a good size. I also got the penne vodka and it was great. The banana tiramisu was so unique it did not have a coffee flavor but tasted more like a banana cream cake with a little caramel and cocoa powder.

Nice Italian eatery in this area. We ordered few apetizers- garlic knot, stuffed mushrooms, calamari, roasted Brussels sprouts. Order Alaskan Salmon and it was pretty decent. Bread and Shredded cheese olive oil was so good as well For main course Pistachio crusted white fish was great. We also got Zappa Di Pesce. Overall good experience

Food was great, server was good, though probably just super busy on a Friday night. Not her fault. Drinks were a little slow - also probably not our server's fault. Think that was the bar. I'll be back for a private event within a couple weeks, but I'd likely go again just for dinner.

The food was great as always. Try the pistachio-crusted white fish. Very tasty and comes with an incredible Brussels sprouts slaw. Service can sometimes be slow because the place is packed on most days.

I had the opportunity to photograph a wedding at Saranello’s Banquets, and it was an absolutely magnificent space. The venue, located inside the Westin Chicago North Shore in Wheeling, offers a modern yet warm and sophisticated atmosphere that’s perfect for weddings and special events. The banquet space is beautifully designed with rich wood accents, dramatic lighting, and plenty of room for both ceremonies and receptions. The floral and decor setups here look incredible in photos! The staff were incredibly professional and accommodating, making sure everything ran smoothly. Highly recommend for couples looking for a stylish, all-in-one venue that delivers both exceptional service and a stunning backdrop for photos.

The Supper Club offering at $24.95 for a 3-course meal was a wonderful treat on a Thursday evening. We had their minestrone soup, parmesan stuffed mushrooms for starters which were delicious. For our second course, we enjoyed the eggplant parmesan and the pistachios-crusted whitefish which came with brussel sprouts slaw. We also ordered a side of broccolini. The lemon cookies and chocolate mascarpone pie were a terrific finish to our dinner. Randi gave us a pleasant service.

My husband and I went to Saranellos for my birthday dinner. Starting off with the ambiance, it was absolutely beautiful - perfect for a romantic dinner date. Lisa attended to us, and since it was our 1st time, she gave a brief introduction about the restaurant, which felt very welcoming. Our order: 1. 2 mocktails: Raspberry mint fizz (both of us enjoyed this for its tangy & sweet flavors) & Pineapple mojito (it was on the sweeter side to our liking but a different flavor). 2. Soup: Got a minestrone bowl & Lisa was kind enough to bring it in 2 cups. The portion size felt small, but boy, we were wrong. It tasted like heaven in a cup, & it was quite filling by the end of it. 3. Mains: Being vegetarians, we were actually surprised to see the number of options to choose from. So we went for: Gnocchi alla vodka: ok, where do I begin? This was a flavor explosion. We had opted for a "spicy" option & it was a good level of spice and thoroughly enjoyed it. Baked Eggplant Parmesan: So, we ordered this based on the high recommendations, & yes, the reviews were up to the mark. This was another burst of flavors in our mouths. It was truly a very different experience. 4. Desert: Got a Banana tiramisu as it caught our attention as well as its high recommendation. And how do I put it in words, we were on cloud 9 with the 1st bite. It was so perfect, the right amount of sweetness. It was the best ending to the night is what we thought. When we got the bill, my husband mentioned to Lisa how we thoroughly enjoyed the food, and it was my birthday. She immediately went and got a cake with a candle. Lisa was truly a sweetheart for making our day. It was an unforgettable experience. Will definitely go back to Saranellos soon.

Ordered a to go breakfast on Christmas Day and was pleased that, although the regular buffet wasn’t available, the American Breakfast was delicious and ample. The service was excellent and the restaurant has a wonderful ambience.

We went here for our 8th anniversary and the service and food was amazing! Bobby was our server and he was attentive, bubbly and gave great recommendations. I appreciated the fact that he even told us what menu items he enjoys but may not work for us based upon the questions we asked. The Chicken Pesto was rich and creamy, I requested it spicy and the kitchen added the perfect amount of red pepper flakes. The lobster ravioli tasted like a delicious deconstructed lobster bisque. The ambiance was the right amount moody and classy without feeling stuffy, we will absolutely be back!

“What a delight visiting this wonderful restaurant.”

What a delight visiting this wonderful restaurant. My aunt and uncle took me here after not seeing them for several years and it was a nice and intimate place to catch up with family. The atmosphere made me feel like I was in Vegas in a very pleasant way. Big highlights were the Brussel Sprouts smothered in bacon and parmesan, the Chicken Parmigiana, and the beet salad. That night, I wasn't particularly hungry, but, that beet salad was probably the best one I've ever had. The goat cheese was not too astringent and paired very well with the very sweet and tender beets. The pistachios on top were little nuggets of heaven. I'm from St. Louis and I do still crave this salad. Chicken Parm was also very good with a hefty portion size that kept my husband full! You definitely get your money's worth here. Please note that reservations are probably a MUST as this place does get crowded easily after 5 pm. The valet parking is cute, too! We will be back! Delicious.

Wonderful atmosphere, great service & delicious food. My siblings chose to get together for an early dinner at Saranello’s. None of us had been there. But it ended up being a positive experience. First of all, I loved the atmosphere & seating set up. They have private rooms & halls for parties. They have walls full of Wine bottles. We had a lot of questions for our server LISA, & she did GREAT! Lisa was patient with all of our inquiries. She was friendly, attentive & checked on how we were doing. Lisa really added to our positive experience at Saranello’s. Now, for the food - - the menu was concise but plentiful. We were struggling as to which meal to choose. I finally decided with Lasagna, my brother chose chicken Parmesan, my sister chose orecchiette with sausage and broccoli in parm broth. The food was made fresh, & you can tell. Of course, we ordered desserts. Banana Tiramisu was good. Apple crostada was so yummy. The chocolate cake melted in your mouth. We are definitely coming back again!!
