“This place hold up to its reviews.”
This place hold up to its reviews. AMAZING! I believe our total was just around $102 for the calamari, carbonara, margarita/pepperoni split pizza, a sprite and one Sabarita cocktail. The service was great. The music was definitely fun and my vibe. The atmosphere felt so cozy and romantic. The calamari was DELICIOUS. The best I’ve ever had. The batter was light and it was still crunchy and tender. The seasoning on here is top tier. Definitely was my favorite thing. The carbonara was delicious as well. I think I ruined it a bit by adding additional Parmesan cheese. It made the thicker and not creamy anymore. The bacon… too much… tooooo much. It overpowered the meal. Every strand of noodle felt like it was covered in bacon. It didn’t balance well. Flavor however was perfect! The margarita: my partner’s dish. We were both surprised they had thinly sliced tomatoes in the pizza. We never had it this was before… ironically we don’t like tomatoes. However, we both enjoyed the pizza and the tomatoes were not an issue. It actually blended well just like sauce. It was my partners favorite dish (besides the calamari) The pepperoni: Just about your normal pepperoni pizza. Not much to say about it but it delicious nonetheless.

“Whether I’m celebrating a birthday, an anniversary, or simply treating myself on a quiet Thursday...”
Whether I’m celebrating a birthday, an anniversary, or simply treating myself on a quiet Thursday night, Saba is my first choice — and it never disappoints. I’ve come with friends, with family, and even by myself, and every single time, I’ve been greeted with warmth, genuine hospitality, and food that speaks straight to the soul. The dishes here don’t just arrive — they make an entrance. You can see it in the way heads turn as plates are delivered, hear it in the excitement at each table, and feel it in the joy that fills the room. Every meal feels deeply personal, like it was made just for you. Everything about Saba is intentional, comforting, and unforgettable. I never leave without a full heart and a full belly. I’ll never pass up a chance to return — because Saba isn’t just where I eat. It’s where I feel most at home and I can swear by that. Can’t wait for my next meal there♥️

“Somewhat casual date night spot.”
Somewhat casual date night spot! Service was great, a miscommunication about our reservation led to two free lemonchello shots. The carbonara was incredible! Great drink deal on Mondays

“I loved the food.”
I loved the food! The oysters are either a meal themselves or something for the table to share. Definitely get the drink flight if you’re dining with group. The chicken Parmesan was so good and very well prepared. The pizza was perfect if you want something light for the day. The place didn’t have ac 😭 that was the only downside it was hot in there

“My friends and I had a great time at SABA.”
My friends and I had a great time at SABA! The $7 Martini Monday includes decadent espresso martinis and was certainly not missed by our group. The service is outstanding, we were celebrating a promotion and everyone was so kind about it. The food was incredible, very fresh and I liked the inventive ways they presented their pasta dishes. The prices feel far too low for the quality and attention you receive. Will definitely be back! Highly Recommended for Happy Hour (4-6) and the Buttered Rigatoni!

“Party of 3 went for Saturday brunch.”
Party of 3 went for Saturday brunch. You can reserve online, and there is a no show fee. The restaurant was fairly empty around noon,so walk-in is possible. The waitress was attentive and food service was quick! We all enjoyed our meals, no complaints. The French toast comes a la carte, you'll have to order sides. We did not order drinks, but there is a full bar The restaurant has an unmarked parking lot directly across Milwaukee that is free! I will be back.

“Easter Brunch at Saba – A Delightful Experience.”
Easter Brunch at Saba – A Delightful Experience! My family and I got together for Easter brunch at Saba in Logan Square, and it was a fantastic choice. The Salmon Eggs Benedict was absolutely delicious—perfectly poached eggs with rich, flavorful salmon. We also sampled a few other dishes, including the Arancini Eggs Benedict, Spaghetti and Meatballs, and their special Chorizo Skillet—each one just as impressive as the next. Of course, no Easter brunch is complete without cocktails, and theirs did not disappoint! To finish off the meal, we enjoyed Tiramisu paired with a bit of green tea—the perfect sweet ending. The service was friendly and very attentive, making us feel welcome throughout the meal. Parking was easy, with a lot conveniently located right across the street. All in all, a wonderful Easter celebration and a restaurant we’ll definitely be returning to!

“My first time here was during Chicago’s restaurant week.”
My first time here was during Chicago’s restaurant week. This was my second time here and I am disappointed… That it took me so long to come back! The first time, i didn’t get any photos. The food was so good, i ate it before I could even take pictures! Haha I’m glad I came here for restaurant week. This place does it right! I am now a fan. And that is what restaurant week is for, right!? To try new places and their food, without breaking bank, and see what they have to offer! Well, Saba, you are an example of how to take advantage of that because I am now a repeat customer! And my friend and I enjoyed meeting the owner during our first trip. He came in to check on the restaurant and customers and I love that! Also, we joked with the manager cisco which was nice. Idk if that is how he spells his name but he definitely doesn’t spell it like the singer Sisqo! Lol Overall: A nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. They’ve have a cafe there. It is clean. And the food is great! Service: i was assisted by two servers. Tara and another woman. They both were attentive, quick, polite, and great! Atmosphere: it’s a nice place for a date night or just a quick bite to eat. The decor isn’t overwhelming and it is clean. I love that the owner is from logan and is trying to keep business in the area! If you want to read about that, I took a photo of his story as seen on the Saba menu! The food: This is what you came for, right!? The food is hot and fresh. They start you off with some hot bread. Which was nice and fresh. Soft of the inside with some crunch on the outside. It was good the first visit, it was great the second! I got meatballs as my appetizer. I love that the sauce for them has a bit of spice. Adds another layer of flavor! I could use a bit of sear on them, but that isn’t a deal breaker because the flavor is astounding. Then, I got the penne ala vodka. You can really taste the flavor of the sausage. That sauce is divine! I would love just some of the sauce to dip my bread into! It isn’t flavorless at all. For dessert, I got tiramisu. It was between this and the chocolate cake. I did ask the server, and both desserts are NOT made in-house. Kind of a disappointment because it is an Italian restaurant. I would have liked in-house desserts. Hopefully, one day they can change that. However, the tiramisu was delicious. I’m not mad at all. It could have had a bit more espresso flavor, but I think the chocolate sauce drizzled on top may have dulled that flavor a bit. I enjoyed my visit and I will be a lifelong supporter; granted the food and service doesn’t decline and they always keep this same high-level of care!

“We needed to be in Chicago for Thanksgiving this year and wanted to find a nice restaurant open...”
We needed to be in Chicago for Thanksgiving this year and wanted to find a nice restaurant open Thanksgiving Day in Logan's Square. So happy we found Saba. They offered a pre fixe traditional Thanksgiving meal but we opted to order from the standard menu. Everything was delicious including the gnocchi with pesto, the linguini basilico with prosiutto, chicken and eggplant parms and cocktails. The staff was very friendly and really made a holiday out of town very enjoyable.

“My boyfriend and I decided we were just going to have a quiet dinner together for Thanksgiving this year.”
My boyfriend and I decided we were just going to have a quiet dinner together for Thanksgiving this year. We've been meaning to check this place out and WOW it did not disappoint! From the minute we walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming. Our waiter was Diego and he was an absolute doll, just an overall kind human being, he gave us suggestions on drinks and dinner. They did have a traditional thanksgiving dinner on the menu, but we were craving pasta, lol. We started with the arancini, it was fantastic and the sauce had a nice, spicy kick to it. Then I had the linguine basilico with prosciutto, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this dish! It was served tableside and was scooped out of a wheel of parmesan, it was garlicky and cheesy, everything I was craving! My boyfriend had the penne pasta dish, which was like having sausage and peppers, but mixed in with pasta, it was very good! We also enjoyed several cocktails, the espresso negroni, which combines 2 of my boyfriends favorite drinks, the limoncello cosmo and a chocolate martini to name a few, lol. For dessert we shared the crème brulee, which is made in house and was super tasty! The owner, Esam stopped by our table to check on us, what a great guy, and we even did shots with him! Overall, we had a great experience, the portions were generous, the prices were reasonable and the staff and food were great. We're excited to have this gem in the neighborhood and can't wait to go back and try the other dishes.
