Pizza Lobo — italian in Andersonville worth a stop for the Pizza. The noise level tells you everything you need to know. Drink selection punches above its weight. Marc Sleiman: "They specialize in NY-style thin crispy pizza with fresh toppings and a light airy crust"

“The place can be a little loud at times, especially if other customers have had a drink or two but that's something you'd expect and doesn't ruin the experience”
The pizza here is excellent.
Their quality has decreased. The dough felt hard and honestly barely any toppings.
A local’s review: The menu is not catered towards vegetarians.

“Great place to stop for a slice and a beer.”
Great place to stop for a slice and a beer. I got the Bianca slice and it came out a little cold, but it was still delicious. My friend ordered the same slice and hers was piping hot, so I think mine just missed the oven timing. The vibe was super chill. We sat and read for a bit before heading to dinner and it was the perfect low key stop.

“Their pizza is amazing.”
Their pizza is amazing. I love that you can get so many options by the slice. The Borgata is my favorite! However, there are no bad options. I cannot say enough good things about their ordering system. You scan the code, put in the order on your phone, and they drop your items off right to your specific location. Submit additional items as you want on your phone, there's no waiting for a waiter/waitress to take your order. I wish more places had this set up. The staff is very friendly and helpful if you do have questions, they are pretty easy to get ahold of. I've not been a big fan of the special cocktails they have on the menu; however, if you pour a spicy tequila shot into the frozen Miami Vice... It is amazing! Plus you can get a slice of cheese pizza for $1 extra when you order the Miami Vice.

Pizza was fire, highly recommend the White Russian or classic pepperoni. Cocktails were good. Sat outside on a nice night and it was an excellent vibe. Really liked the layout of the patio.

“Delicious pizza and great vibe.”
Delicious pizza and great vibe! They specialize in NY-style thin crispy pizza with fresh toppings and a light airy crust. Our favorites are the Supreme and the Borgata. You can get pizza by the slice or full pies, and they’re all great. The venue is also great for groups with a fun ambiance and great bar area. Would definitely return!

“Pizza Lobo is our go-to pizza place in the city, which says a lot as Chicagoans.”
Pizza Lobo is our go-to pizza place in the city, which says a lot as Chicagoans. While there are classic pizza toppings, Pizza Lobo has a good selection of more unique toppings as well, which keeps multiple visits fresh. The caesar salad and buffalo cauliflower are also highlights of yours looking for appetizers. I'd recommend avoiding the garlic knots though. They just miss the mark a bit. If you don't drink, there are plenty of other options and NA drinks as well. The place can be a little loud at times, especially if other customers have had a drink or two but that's something you'd expect and doesn't ruin the experience.

“Absolutely spacious and open patio in the front.”
Absolutely spacious and open patio in the front. Ideal for summer and spring. Dog friendly outside. Fire pits to stay cozy and warm at night. My wife and I can't by for drinks after dinner so we didn't get to sample their food, but the experience was absolutely delightful. Will definitely be coming back with our dog to enjoy the patio. Street parking, no reservations required.

“Great pizza and fun atmosphere.”
Great pizza and fun atmosphere. There bar serves great drinks and the bartenders have a wealth of knowledge of other drinks. I came in one time and had a friend tried to order were unavailable, so the bartender created a cocktail based on their taste.

“This place was hopping on Sunday late afternoon / early evening - and it's not hard to see why:...”
This place was hopping on Sunday late afternoon / early evening - and it's not hard to see why: Awesome large outdoor patio space with bocce ball area and several fire tables are inviting and great for having dogs or kids play around (be forewarned it's gravel ground, though); and a open "lodge" style indoor area for a warmer cozier intimate vibe, including an open patio style picnic bench seating and a bar area with seating and tables also. My beau and I were lucky enough to snag 2 seats at the bar (it was PACKED likely due to gorgeous weather and the Renegade Art Street Fair having just ended nearby), and the bartenders were friendly and quick to serve. First come, first serve seating, can order by QR codes at tables - though we did the bar and had a more friendly one-on-one service. This would be an excellent place for large parties particularly on lovely weather days, and it really does feel like you're at a friend's backyard: very inviting, fun, and casual. They have a great array of pizzas, and I love that you can get pizza by the slice for $5 and try a variety. I love not having to commit to a full pizza!! We are suckers for a deal and did the specials: The "Slice 'n Vice" 99 cent cheese pizza slice with purchase of Miami Vice ($12) drink, and the $15 "Wolf Pack" deal for a 10" cheese pizza with a high life and whiskey shot (added a topping for extra $) - and added a Caesar salad for side. Everything was great: The drink was awesome - most cocktails (as well as wine glasses) are $12 - and impressively strong for its size; and the whiskey shot was delicious. Also, I'm not a huge pizza fan, but I really enjoyed theirs - it was a great size for thin crust and super delicious - I surprisingly ended up getting a second slice (which I could not finish all the way)! The parmesan grated cheese was fresh and delicious and basically all around I cannot wait to come back to try more pizza flavors, the $1 wing Tuesdays / Wednesdays, and just to lounge. ETA: I have crutches / mobility scooter due to breaking an ankle recently so accessibility is a must for me lately: Lobo = yes. Beware of gravel ground outdoors, but there is a pathway - and I was able to park my scooter next to my seat at the bar and easily get to the bathroom. Huzzah!
