“6時頃に入店。夕方からとても混雑していたので席があるか心配でしたが、「5分程度で席が空くよ」 と親切に対応してくれました。 料理が大変美味しいことに加えて従業員が皆とても親切でした。 尚、すぐ近くでシカゴピザが食べられるチェーン店の対応か最悪だったのでこちらのお店にして本当に良かったです。”

“never disappoints. went here for valentines w my boyfriend and the service was exceptional. regular stopping by, genuinely friendly. had the raspberry lemon drops (so good!) and someone brought me a little cup with raspberries after asking where the ones in my drink were (i said i had eaten them because i love raspberries). my boyfriend and i are the kind of visibly gay that tends to elicit rudeness, or at least coldness, especially in the demographic of the associates we spoke to (middle-aged men) so this was such a happy surprise. also the food is incredible. i spent an amount of money that i cannot currently afford to spend and tbh. worth it!”

“Great food, they clean they restrooms when they are dirty and great pizza-service !! The Luca Bosio Sweet Red is delicious!!”

“I love a casual pasta pizza spot. And this place hits. The pizza and the pasta is great. One thing i do t like about Italian food, they never get the protein right. THIS PLACE DOES. The chicken is never over cooked.”

“Stopped by here for lunch and had a good experience. Tried the bbq chicken salad - the chicken was moist and not dry and the salad was really good. Also ordered the veggie pizza and liked the flavors as well. Really liked their table bread as well and how soft it was. Great service as well, they were very attentive and the people working there were super attentive. They even boxed up my leftovers in to-go boxes.”

“Came here for the first time yesterday. Walking through the door we was immediately greeted 10/10. The kiddos smashed the pizza and egg rolls. Spicy wrap was meh but Jefferey went above and beyond to make sure my experience was top tier. The lemon drop I had was 10/10 as well. I ordered another one☺️ Let me tell you! I will be returning again. I enjoyed every bit of my time in this establishment. I’ve walked passed so many times in the past and made the decision to try them out. So glad I made that choice 🙌❤️”

“Had a Mother/daughter date here, this place has very nice italian style intimate vibes. The Staff was comforting with great service. Food is reasonable and delicious. They have a small bar too. The olive oil/bread has be hooked. Drinks were made well with all the love lbs. Going back to try pizza more.”

“I came from Milenium Station on the Metra to Hyde Park. On my way to a gallery I stopped at Pizza Capri. When people call Chicago a food capital, they are not exaggerating. The server that had greeted me was accommodating, and kind. He told me a bit about the menu before letting me order. I ordered one thing from here, and it was a small Three Cheese Pizza. The pizza tasted amazing, and when I pulled apart the slices and saw the cheese melt- I knew I was in for a good time. I was served bread and butter while waiting for my pizza. The bread itself was good. Just good. Not good as in "oh god this is amazing"- good as in, good but not amazing type of good. The bread at least keeps you sated until you get your entree. If you go to Hyde Park- stop by here. You will not regret the pizza. I know I did not. One more thing. The menu. The prices are on the expensive side depending on what you get so be a bit wary of menu items. The ambience in the place is not bad. You will have fun bringing a friend, date- really anyone that will accompany you here. The last thing I'm adding now is that you will be waiting a bit for the pizza you order. I don't know how wait times vary from item to item on the menu.”

“隱身在芝加哥大學旁的街角,Pizza Capri 有種鄰家餐館的親切感。薄脆的餅皮加上新鮮的配料,每一口都很滿足。份量不小,兩個人點一份 pizza 再加上一份沙拉就很剛好。氣氛輕鬆,不論是學生聚會還是散步後想簡單吃點東西,都很適合。”

“It was ok. Decent food. Nice staff i also had pizza but forgot the pictures it was ok”

“While the kitchen at Pizza Capri clearly takes pride in its craft, the front-of-house experience was deeply disappointing and, frankly, insulting. Starting with the positives: the food was excellent. We ordered the four cheese pizza and the lasagna, both of which were flavorful and well-prepared. It is a shame that such talent in the kitchen is paired with a service staff that makes guests feel like a burden. The issues began the moment we stepped through the door. We were met with an immediate sense of being unwelcome; the woman at the front desk gave us a "side eye" for a full five minutes before we were even acknowledged. Once seated, the neglect continued. Our server seemed purposefully invested in every other table except ours. We were forced to practically beg for basic attention just to get a refill on our Cokes. The only time the service was "quick" was when it came time to bring the bill. It felt less like efficiency and more like an eager invitation for us to leave. Most concerning was the palpable disparity in how we were treated compared to other patrons. It was difficult to ignore the feeling that our race played a factor in the lack of hospitality we received. To feel disrespected and singled out in a public establishment is unacceptable. Regardless of how good the lasagna is, no meal is worth being treated with such blatant coldness. We will not be returning.”
