Ciao Ragazzi Restaurant & Bar — honest italian in Garfield Ridge. The setting does the work on date night. Friendly team that sets the tone, and owner on site. Lady Margaret: "The bolognese sauce was full of tender meat that just melts in the mouth"

“Just stop by here for a drink in this beautiful venue and enjoy good food sweet tiramisu and dark like night espresso ☕️”
Nice place but the food was not great. However, the brussels sprouts were good.
My husband and I decided to try this restaurant while in the neighborhood.
Horrible service. Sad to see Hispanic people treating us like that . They didn’t even say. Thank you when we left.

“The lasagna was perfect, good serving as well.”
The lasagna was perfect, good serving as well. The fried calamari was my favorite. The only thing I wasn't that happy about was the fettuccine Alfredo, it was a bit bland, specially the chicken. But besides that, overall I was happy and they provided 5 star service.

“Cozy place with some amazing food as well as staff.”
Cozy place with some amazing food as well as staff. We enjoyed the NY strip, papradelle bolognese, minestrone soup, and topped it off with a cannoli. Everything was fab! We both had enough food left for a second meal. The bolognese sauce was full of tender meat that just melts in the mouth. Staff was attentive and friendly as well. Thanks for a great experience. 👍

“The food was amazing.”
The food was amazing! We always see this place on our route to work and we always say we're going to try it. And we did! It's pricey but anyone who eats in fancy places would agree with me that the prices are good.

“As a first timer, I’ll be returning for the delicious food.”
As a first timer, I’ll be returning for the delicious food! All the dishes I’ve tried, were bursting with flavor! Definitely a great place to go to dine and relax. Great ambience! Only will subtract 5 points from the overall experience due to how cold and not friendly the waitresses/waiters were. When we were leaving, no one noticed. They were too busy huddled having a conversation. I hope the next visit will be a different positive experience, for the food weee outstanding!. I’ll return with an update soon!

“One of my favorite hidden gems on the south side.”
One of my favorite hidden gems on the south side. While on the pricey side, the food and service are excellent and worth the prices. Always ask for the daily special. I had an amazing smoked salmon risotto that was not on the menu, and it was the gastronomic highlight of my week. Go on a weekday for a more chill atmosphere.

Heard a lot of positive comments and decided to try this place. Pleasantly surprised. Owner was onsite. Service was excellent! They have a private parking lot. Food was excellent! Authentic dishes well prepared and presented! Small wine list but something for everyone. Definitely a good spot.

1st timers: linguini diavola definitely worth the purchase, looked creamier than it tasted and that was excellent, nicely surprised; eggplant parmigiana plate was wiped clean. After dinner: chocolate Sunday was average, The St. Germain was a great way to end the meal.

“Went for Lunch and food was great and so was our server Alejandro.”
Went for Lunch and food was great and so was our server Alejandro. He suggested a grilled mistook platter that had octopus, calamari and shrimp in a balsamic dressing with arugula. It was great. We asked what his favorite pasta was and he suggested Rigatoni with sausage and vodka sauce. It too was fantastic. Little bit of spice but not too much and not overly sweet like so many Vodka sauces are. Nice wine list. Had a really nice Amarone. Tiramisu for dessert with a nice hot expresso. We will back back.

First time lunch with a friend here and had the lobster bisque and spaghetti carbonara. She had the truffle ravioli and we shared the brussel sprouts. Oh and I paired it with a sangria. Delicious. Our server was attentive and kind. Overall, it was a great lunch and was a perfect setting to catch up. Wouldn't mind visiting again when I'm in town.
