“I visited this Pizano location on New Year’s Day 2026.”

I visited this Pizano location on New Year’s Day 2026. Service was impeccable. All staff members were extremely nice and friendly. I ordered calamari to start which was cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. For my entree, I ordered individual deep dish meat lovers pizza. The lizza was incredible. I was stuffed after two bites but managed to finish 3 of 4. Individual size is extremely filling. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

This was my favorite deep dish pizza I had while I was in Chicago! The flavor of the pizza was fantastic and the service was excellent. I got the Marks special (which is my favorite) and the Rudy’s special. The building itself is clean and the staff are friendly. I will definitely be returning the next time i’m in the area.

A great place to sit and enjoy great pizza. It wasn't too busy when we went. We were able to sit at the bar. Our server was polite and served us in a timely matter. Be prepared to wait for your food because does take some time to bake. The inside had lots of sports memability on the walls. I would definitely go back. I loved it.

Don’t leave because you think they are full; they have a back dining room. Cute Chicago sports themed decor. I tried to make a phone reservation, but was told they only take reservations for four or more. Waitress told us all their pizzas, deep dish or thin crust, take 40 minutes; so, order an appetizer if you’re hangry. Also, the waitress told us they don’t take Apple Pay or any tap payment. You have to have a physical credit card or cash (who carries cash?). We ordered a medium deep dish Mark’s pizza, which comes with sliced tomatoes, basil, and garlic. The Cabernet was the perfect accompaniment. Pizza itself was a mozzarella bomb. Huge amount of mozzarella and I mean huge! Thin layer of sliced tomatoes in red sauce and topped with what seemed to me as a bit of fresh and some dried basil as well. I would have preferred more fresh basil. I could only eat about one and a half slices and my hubby had 2 slices. The medium pizza still had two slices left. All in all, a nice dinner.

“Jeff, the bartender is the man.”

Jeff, the bartender is the man! Has a heaping bowl of spaghetti and meatballs. It was amazing and I will order it often. Perfectly seasoned and two giant meatballs! I said at the bar so I had perfect service from Jeff. I love this old school. Lot of repeat customers in locals come here

“A very Chicago pizza place!!”

A very Chicago pizza place!!! I felt like I was an extra on a movie set. The atmosphere when you walk into Pizano’s reverberates the true essence of the city. The food was is delicious and hearty. I highly recommend the Caesar for the table to start off with. The wine selection is fantastic and offers high quality vineyards like Meiomi. The chicken stuffed tortellini was absolutely a bite from pasta heaven!!!! The food came out within 20 mins after we ordered and about 10 mins after the salad. If you’re a first time visitor, this is where you need to come for an authentic deep dish Chicago pizza!!!!

Pizano's Pizza and Pasta in Chicago was the perfect spot to dive into the city's iconic deep-dish pizza. After a brief wait, we were seated and treated to a pizza that truly lived up to its reputation - rich, cheesy, and packed with flavour. The crust was wonderfully thick and buttery. Definitely worth a visit for pizza lovers!

The service was amazing, Marko our server shared the story of Rudy Malnati Sr, snd how this charming restaurant became a part of Chicago restaurant scene. We started with the garlic bread n the marinara sauce was excellent! We shared an individual deep dish with pepperoni and it was better than expected! Best experience to start our visit to Chicago!

Pizanos Pizza 📍 My experience here with my friends was honestly 1000/10 ! Just a short walk from the red line, this was the perfect meal to eat on a cold chicago day ! We quickly got seated and was attended by our server pretty frequent. The food waiting time was average but the food itself was delicious ! Had a awesome time and definitely will come back in the future ! Good job guys ! (:
