“The Plin is a reason to come to this joint alone, it's amazing. You can order bread straight up even though it's not advertised on the menu, and you should. It's great for sopping up the delicious sauce Anthony was a phenomenal server, very educated on the menu front and back and extremely courteous in avoiding interrupting our group. The service here was stellar as far as I'm concerned. Constant water refills and very polite staff. The value proposition is really the only thing lacking in my opinion. The Ragu is a much more substantial dish for the price, but none of the portions are what I would consider anything crazy. For what you pay, I still say it's worth based on how well these are executed.”

“Some of the best Italian food I've had. The Ragu and Kiln is a must. We enjoyed the espresso Martini's. Strongly recommend making a reservation as the restaurant is on the smaller side.”

“The rabbit and the plin were the absolute highlight of the meals here, they were EXCELLENT. We will be back based on those alone. The rabbit is in my top 5 Chicago meals. The gnocchi was also very good. It didn’t have the Gorgonzola, which I think would have made it also over the top. They run a $10 espresso martini deal and it was one of the best espresso martinis I’ve had in a while. Strong coffee flavor, not too sweet. We’ll be back to try the carne cruda and tortellini which caught our eye. Not a huge fan of the patatas (needed salt) or the Vitello (kind of just tasted like canned tuna). But the rest turned it around.”

“My husband and I stopped in late this evening (Friday). The restaurant closes at 10pm and we walked in at 9:25pm. They seated us, let us take our time ordering, and served us one of the most delicious meals we’ve had in a good while. We started with a shrimp antipasti, which were large, and cooked perfectly. For dinner, I had the gnocchi. They were out of duck so our server, Anthony, had the chef add some steak for me. It was outstanding! My husband had the Coniglio. It was also delicious. For dessert I had the pear panna cotta which was creamy, perfectly sweet, and amazing. My husband had the bombolini, which were so light and fluffy in a sauce that was delicious. This was a meal that we will travel back to Chicago for, soon, I hope!”

“We went last night with work colleagues and had a very pleasant experience. After a short wait — which had been communicated clearly in advance over the phone (a detail that truly reflects professionalism) — we were seated comfortably. The menu is simple and well curated, with a few special dishes prepared separately. I had the potato appetizer and the fettuccine with meat ragù. The pasta, in particular, was perfectly cooked al dente and full of flavor — exactly how it should be. The pricing was very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the overall experience. I personally did not order any alcoholic beverages or drinks, and even without that, the final bill felt like great value. Compliments to the entire staff for their professionalism and kindness throughout the evening. I would gladly return.”

“Was recommend to come as heard it was voted the number one northern Italian restaurant in the city last year. It was incredible”

“Hands down one of the best authentic Italian spots I’ve been to in the US. Everything was packed with flavor and you can tell they use top-notch ingredients. We had such a good time at Osteria Langhe!”

“First time dining here, and I’ve got to say—it’s totally worth it. I had the salad and plin, while my group ordered the black cod, gnocchi, tagliatelle, and lamb. Each dish was full of finesse, creativity, and executed perfectly (coming from a real chef, I can tell). The ingredients were top-notch, and the plin was wonderfully cheesy and balanced. Highly recommend.”

“Had a great time here this past Saturday. The space feels instantly warm and inviting. Our server Andrew was attentive, welcoming, and gave great recommendations. But everyone on the staff was super friendly and helpful as well! We had the pork chop and pork belly special. It was crisp, rich, and the honey drizzle brought a nice balance of sweet and savory. We also tried the ragù and pappardelle pastas. Both were perfectly al dente. The pappardelle stood out with garlic confit, wine, and mussels that all worked together really well. Will definitely be back :)”

“Osteria Langhe is an inviting restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. My wife and I went there recently and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The food and wine selection features the culinary traditions of the Piedmont area of Italy. The wine selection is top notch with an array of wines from the region. The dishes are fully represented as well. My favorites that we had were the porchetta and risotto. One thing worth noting is that the dishes are small plates-ish. If you have a taste for something from the menu, and you're sharing it, you may need more! Osteria Langhe is a nice restaurant with a great vibe, great wines and equally great food.”
