Came to try my second only breaded steak. It was very delicious, almost couldn’t finish it. Would like to try an Italian sub next time.

I had a taste for a breaded steak sandwich. The reviews here say it’s the best. I usually go to Ricobenes, so this was a bit of a gamble. The sandwich here is packed. You won’t feel that bad that you paid $16 for a sandwich without fries! Service was cool, older guy who is probably a few minutes short of retirement. I asked if he recommended hot or mild Giardiniera so he said ok I’ll put both in the sandwich lol. It was a good mix. I saw people who ordered and had to wait like 20 minutes. Foods good but not 20 minutes wait time good. I’ll be back to try other sandwiches. I love family owned businesses.

Given they have an outdoor area, it really compensates for the small, crammed area indoors. This is more like a place you walk in, order, and leave. But because they have outdoor area, again, it compensates for the indoor area. The food is almost as good as Fontanos Subs. I did ask for mayo, and they added mayo. That was a mistake on my part. It tasted like there was too much mayo. As soon as you order a cold sandwich, it would be ready in about 2 minutes. This is much quicker than any fast food restaurants I have been to. I would recommend this over any other fast food restaurants. It is cheap as well. I believe I payed $12 for the sandwich itself. Only half of it I was able to eat and the other half, I had either finish it, throw it out, or save it for later and hope it doesn't spoil (I was not around a fridge at the time). Giardia spicy, is really not spicy. It's more mild than spicy. You will feel the taste of it later in the day though.

El sándwich de prosciutto estuvo increíble, pero la amabilidad de quienes atienden fue lo que realmente me hizo sentir recibida y cómoda. Muy recomendado!!

I was driving home and saw their white sign outside. Decided to stop and try it out. I ordered the Spicy Italian sub and a Breaded Steak sandwich. They were delicious! So good that I couldn’t stop to take a picture. I’ve passed by this place for years and never stopped to look. That changed today. I will be going back pretty soon and often.

The prices little high especially for salads. Food wasn't bad. Update:6/6/26 They have 2 new menu items TACOS 🌮 and Veracruz style TAMALEEEZ. 🫔 😆 I don't know why I said it that way. They serve chicken red or green chile. Very flavor packed and the texture is perfect. I really enjoyed my red tamale. It's a little lonely in the sitting area, but they have outdoor sitting. Service was quick and staff was friendly.

The carnita tacos are soo good!! Must try! BUT there is room for improvement with the other tacos. Tried all of their tacos steak, chicken, al pastor, and carnitas. All the tacos come with cilantro and onion. Here is my review for each of them below in order from favorite to least favorite, hoping the kitchen staff will take my recommendations seriously as I believe it would improve the taste and customer experience: Carnitas - no issues, pork is soft and tender and tasty, perfect! Chicken- bland only had black pepper, definitely needed salt or some seasoning, but it was tender and tasted okay with the salsa, without it, it's very bland no flavor, recommend they add some salt Steak- tender small chopped pieces which I appreciated, I don't like skirt steak that is fatty and tough to chew, but I think it could have been charred a bit more on the grill/stove so it has that smokey charred taste that makes asada taste so good, this one was lacking that flavor and could have used a bit more salt as it was also bland Al pastor- tender and marinated but on the sweeter side, al pastor usually has a mix of sweet and spicy and this one has no heat to it at all, it's very sweet which I disliked but the meat is tender, I think they need to add a bit more spice since this meat traditionally has a spicy sweet balance of flavor that was lacking here, they also did not add pineapple which al pastor tacos always have They offer two kinds of salsa the green and orange sauce. The green tastes like a creamy avocado serrano/jalapeno sauce and the orange is way spicier and taste more like a creamy habanero sauce. The sauce is definitely needed for the chicken and steak tacos bc they don't have flavor and were bland, the sauce is the only thing that made them taste good so I hope the management/kitchen staff will implement some of the suggestions to make the tacos great on their own! I also tried their tomato chunky salsa with tostitos which was very good. I preferred the this salsa over the other two that were provided. This one was chunky (how I prefer it) and not super creamy and smooth like the other two mentioned above and this one had more flavor in my opinion and tastes more like the salsa you get at traditional Mexican restaurants when ordering tacos so I really enjoyed it. Tried the beans and rice as well, the rice had nice flavor was well seasoned and was soft and fluffy. The beans on the other hand were disappointing and had no flavor even with the melted cheese on top. I don't know how to explain it but it just didn't taste like refried beans it tastes like plain beans out of a can with no seasoning at all. It didnt have that charred bean flavor like typical Mexican restaurants. Even if they can't add lard or char the beans they should at least add some seasoning they were on the bland side as well like some of the tacos. Other recommendations would be to post the flavors, sizes and prices for their Italian ice as I did not see anything listed when I went in. I asked if they offer it and they said they do but there was no menu for that in sight. I plan to try the Italian ice in the summer when it's warmer. They do offer chips n soft drink options but it would be nice if they had Mexican flavored drinks like Jarritos or agua frescas like horchata, jamaica/hibiscus, pepino/cucumber to pair with the tacos. Overall, the tacos at least are a great value in terms of the amount of food. The tacos are well stuffed they load them up, and the rice and beans is a decent amount for sides. They only have cilantro and onion for toppings which I personally don't mind I think it's good enough for the tacos. I just think some of the meats need seasoning and that would make a HUGE difference in flavor and taste! If I order tacos I'll only get the carnitas, that has the best flavor IMO. The customer service is professional, friendly, and polite. I appreciate that the worker is bilingual too. I plan on trying the pizza and the Italian sandwiches/ice and will update my review later. FYI, parking is sort of hard to find, they close at 8pm.
