My favorites are baked clams, bruchetta, and fried calamari. Their meat sauce is amazing, Shrimp fra Diavolo (I asked for extra spicy) is delicious. Tiramisu is a must!!!

This place is a hidden gem, serving fine Italian food since 1933, the food is just amazing, I got carrot soup for appetizer it was so delicious, fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, also fried calamari is sooo good, you should try their tiramisu which is homemade, honestly the best tiramisu I have ever try. Food is so authentic. Our waitress Nina was very attentive and nice. I’m coming back for sure!

During my visit to the house where my great grandfather was born in Chicago, I stumbled upon this charming Italian restaurant across the street, and it turned out to be a delightful discovery! We opted for the Carbonara and Pesto Gnocchi, and both dishes were nothing short of amazing. The flavors were authentic and perfectly executed, making each bite a true delight. The freshness of the bruschetta was a refreshing starter, setting the tone for the culinary journey ahead. What truly made our experience memorable was the kindness of the server. Their warmth and attentiveness added an extra layer of hospitality to our meal, making us feel right at home. If you're in Chicago and craving authentic Italian cuisine served with a side of genuine hospitality, this restaurant is a must-visit. I'll definitely be returning on my next trip to the city!

We dined outdoors on a beautiful evening and food was excellent, including the bread. :) Also enjoyed an appetizer of sausage and peppers, followed by veal scallopine and scallops alla Cristina. Delicious and well presented. Service was attentive, congenial, and accommodative. Highly recommended.

Great restaurant and great service I would recommend the truffle ravioli and tiramisu. Service was great and waiters were friendly. The restaurant itself is clean and tidy and definitely a good place to be and have dinner at.

“I love this place.”

I love this place! I’ve been here a few times and enjoy it every time. I got the chicken Marsala and my boyfriend got the veal scaloppini. The server was so nice and worked with my substitutions, I asked for the Marsala to be served over angel hair pasta. Im not too sure but I think you get a bowl of penne with marinara. They give you such a huge serving too! I had enough to take home.

Amazing place!!! Went to try this place on a whim and did not regret it. Lovely back area with lots of seating. The service was phenomenal. Very authentic Italian restaurant. Lasagna was delicious, and so was the Italian ice. The waiters knew what wines to pair with specific dishes and had great recommendations.
