We had a fantastic experience at Munno Pizzeria and Bistro. The buffalo mozzarella pizza I had was really delicious, with incredible cheese, sauce, and crust. Our waitress, Elli, was the absolute highlight though—so sweet, lovely, and knowledgeable. We’ll definitely be returning!

Nestled in a charming setting, Munno offers a delightful take on Italian favorites, showcasing thoughtful preparation and attention to detail. We began with the Giardiniera della Casa and the Insalata Pere, Pecorino e Noci. The house-made giardiniera featured a colorful mix of pickled vegetables, including cauliflower, radicchio, fennel, and more, perfectly balanced with a tangy vinegar base and a subtle hint of spice from Calabrian chili. The salad was equally enjoyable, combining wild arugula, radicchio, Bartlett pear, aged pecorino Toscano, and walnuts with a balsamic vinaigrette for a harmonious blend of flavors and textures. For the main courses, the Mezze Maniche alla Carbonara was a standout. Made gluten-free upon request, the noodles were so well-crafted that I wouldn’t have known they were gluten-free. The artisanal short rigatoni was perfectly al dente, coated in a smooth sauce of guanciale, egg yolk, pecorino romano, and black pepper. The Circo Massimo pizza rounded out the meal with its expertly crafted crust—a delightful balance of chewiness and crispness—and satisfying toppings. Munno offers a warm and welcoming experience, with dishes that are thoughtfully prepared and enjoyable from start to finish. It’s a lovely spot for a good Italian meal that leaves you content and satisfied.

Wow! I wasn’t a huge fan of Italian food, even in Rome, because it always felt very Americanized but this place was amazing! Ellie (our server) was so friendly and knowledgeable and made our entire experience even better. The food was awesome and we can’t wait to come back.

I stumbled upon this establishment from an Instagram reel. It looked delicious, so I had to try it out. We were not disappointed! Every dish was tasty and flavorful. We were seated quickly for our reservation, and appetizers were delivered shortly thereafter. The server let us take out time in choosing our dishes. He was so attentive and advised us on options. The tiramisu dessert with coffee was a perfect pairing for the end. We will definitely be back!

I came here for dinner and it was lovely! Our waiter was very friendly and informative about the menu. Sadly they were out of a few menu items but what we had was delicious! I enjoyed the pizza more than the pasta we ordered, and bright side they had vegetarían options!

“This place is just the absolute best.”

This place is just the absolute best. Husband and I live in the neighborhood and go somewhat often. It never disappoints. In fact our last experience was probably the best of them all (and all the prior experiences were excellent). They had a melted leek, ricotta, and sausage pizza that was probably the best pizza we've ever had. Then finished off with a perfect goat cheese basque cheesecake. The service is always impeccable (we love Troy!) and the fact that they've maintained the same folks for years speaks volumes about how much management values them. 12/10 - run don't walk.

I will do my best to properly articulate what a spectacular time we had at Pizzeria Munno! My wife and I had wanted to come here for a while and finally found a time on Valentine's Day. Our server and wait staff were so kind and personable and could not have asked more from them. We ordered an appetizer of Bufala and Prosciutto, which was light and delicious. For the main course, we couldn't pass on the pizzas and ordered (forgive me, I forget the names), but the pepperoni pizza with drizzled Italian honey and then the artichoke pizza. They both were both so different, but incredible in their own ways. Lastly, we ordered dessert, to which they had a special pistachio Bundt cake slice drizzled with olive oil. I would highly recommend this restaurant and am regretful it took us so long to patronize. I can't wait to return and eat more scrumptious food!
