Lou Malnati's Pizzeria — italian in Streeterville worth a stop for the Pizza. The room fills up fast and stays lively. The kind of cooking that doesn't need to explain itself. Ashley Wilbers: "And the best part is that they had a gluten free pizza"

1. Food was meh. Undercooked dough, not so balanced tomato sauce taste to meat and cheese 2.
I placed an order at 4pm for pickup at 7pm. The pizza wasn’t ready on time, it was only ready at 7:30.

Nice place. A lot of locals recommended this place as the place to try my first chicago deep dish pizza. It was good! Loved the crust and how the tomato sauce had chunks of tomatoes in it. Wouldn't say its my favorite style of pizza, but I'm glad I was able to try the deep dish pizza in Chicago. Lovely staff and cute place to dine at.

“Lou Malnati's Pizzeria absolutely lived up to the hype.”
Lou Malnati's Pizzeria absolutely lived up to the hype. I had their classic deep dish pizza with added pepperoni, and it was perfectly cooked, rich, hearty, and incredibly satisfying. The sauce was thick and flavorful with just a hint of spice that tied everything together beautifully. The garlic bread was wonderful, simple, warm, and packed with flavor. On top of the great food, the service was excellent, quick, friendly, and attentive. They made helpful recommendations and checked in often without being overbearing. A classic Chicago experience done right. 🍕

“The pizza here is amazing, love the deep dish style.”
The pizza here is amazing, love the deep dish style. I had the classic deep dish, the sauce taste so fresh and the mozzarella was great and had an amazing cheese pull. I highly recommend getting a reservation. We had an hour wait but it was worth the wait. Also recommend knowing what you want to order before sitting down so you can get your pizza order in immediately because pizza can take up to 45mins to make. Want to give a shot out to Brandi. She was an amazing server. She was kind and professional even though she had a lot of tables she gave everyone great service.

“Downtown is always very crowded, so I highly recommend making a reservation in advance.”
Downtown is always very crowded, so I highly recommend making a reservation in advance. The pizza takes some time to come out, so it’s best to visit when you’re not in a rush. That said, the pizza itself was very well balanced—clean in flavor and not greasy at all—making it easy and enjoyable to eat without feeling too heavy.

“I have had deep dish pizzas before but not in Chicago and not with this type of dough/crust.”
I have had deep dish pizzas before but not in Chicago and not with this type of dough/crust. I'm sure people have their preferred type of deep dish, but this was very good and I'd say my favorite type overall. The crust is hard to explain because it's not bready, but it's not quite like a pie crust...it's something close to a pie crust without the flakiness but it's very good. I got the classic deep with pepperoni added, personal size. I also got the Malnati's Salad and that was very good. It's a big salad for one person and in the menu it says it feeds 2-3. The service was wonderful as well. Highly recommend the place.

“I really enjoyed my first deep dish pizza ever.”
I really enjoyed my first deep dish pizza ever. I had the classic one with sausage, cheese and tomato sauce on top. Personally I was not a big fan of the sausage and would have preferred some pepperonis instead but that’s just a personal preference. I will definitely come back and try some pepperonis on my pizza!

Stopped in for lunch to try some authentic Chicago deep dish! We had the classic and really enjoyed it! Our server let us know that the handmade pizzas took 30 minutes and I appreciated her letting us know. The pie was hot , cheesey and delicious. Definitely recommend if you’re visiting Chicago

We stopped by Lou Malnati’s in The Wrigley Building on a busy holiday and it's totally worth the wait! We waited about an hour, but the service was amazing and everyone was super friendly! We ordered the Lou’s Bruschetta, Three-Cheese Bread, and the Deep Dish The Lou. Everything was amazing! The pizza had spinach, mushrooms, roma tomatoes, and so much cheese! The crust? Unreal! Such a fun spot with good vibes and classic Chicago energy. Come hungry, the deep dish is no joke! 🍕🔥

“Definitely amazing Chicago style deep dish pizza.”
Definitely amazing Chicago style deep dish pizza! It’s always busy, pizza always takes 30-40 minutes. As long as you manage your expectations with the wait, I’ve enjoyed friendly and very experienced servers and bar tenders. Pizza is second to none!
