Giordano's — an italian spot in Streeterville. Order the chicago pizza. Classic neighborhood feel, nothing here chasing trends. Heide Homan: "The crust was buttery, the cheese was gooey, and the toppings tasted fresh"

“Such a great place to dine in, recently was there for this holiday season, but I’ve been all seasons, my favorite being summer, patio season :) French fries are really good”
Pizza was not impressive. Ordered a deep dish, it wasn’t flavorful…seemed underbaked.
Completely underwhelming. Ate the lunch special and I think that's why I'm underwhelmed. It was cold and sad.
Don't eat here unless you're OK with eating out of the trash.

While Giordano's can get a "chain" wrap from some online, all I can say is that my family loves it (wife and 3 teens). We do not make it to Chicago often, but when we do, this is a fantastic option. Their appetizer sampler offers great options to try... we really enjoy their italiano salad... and loved the pepperoni deep dish. While busy, our service was very good in a fun downtown environment.

“Chicago's known for its deep-dish pizza, and Giordano's is one of the big names you'll hear.”
Chicago's known for its deep-dish pizza, and Giordano's is one of the big names you'll hear. Expect a serious wait, but it might just be worth it. The pizza itself is a monster—a super thick crust that's more like a pie than a pizza. It's packed with cheese and you'll need a fork and knife to tackle it. The sauce is ladled on top, which some people love and others find a bit much. It's a heavy meal, so come hungry or plan to share. Overall, Giordano's is a solid Chicago experience, especially if you're into that classic deep-dish style.

Good pizza! The deep dish took about 30-45 minutes…my recommendation is to order while you wait for a table if you are dining in. Enjoyed the leftovers later!

“Can’t believe I’m only reviewing now.”
Can’t believe I’m only reviewing now. This is my Chicago pizza favorite. I’ve only been going here for 20+ years, and bring everyone I know here, and since I don’t live here anymore, I have to come here every trip I’m back. I’ve even taken the frozen pizzas back with me to Toronto. Such a great place to dine in, recently was there for this holiday season, but I’ve been all seasons, my favorite being summer, patio season :) French fries are really good! Don’t skip out. And of course I have a divided family so we order both deep dish and regular pizza :) highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed!!

“A Chicago Institution.”
A Chicago Institution. We actually like it more than Lou's. A great place to est well and make new memories. Particularly, if you like Chicago' deep dish pizza. Get a garlic and spinach one! The absolute best!

“The best Chicago pizza.”
The best Chicago pizza! We had the double pepperoni pizza the first time we ate here. It's so filling that I could barely finish a slice. The waitress helped serve the pizza and what a cheese string that came from the pizza! It takes 40 to 50 minutes for them to make the pizza and they tell you this once you sit down. Free refills on drinks. The second night I ate here, I wanted a fast and light meal. I had soup of the day (Minestrone) and Greek salad. The soup was delicious. The Greek salad was good although the feta cheese came in a wedge, as opposed to being crumbled on top.

Great experience at Giordano’s! The food was awesome — we especially loved the double pepperoni deep dish, definitely our favorite. Our server, Lala, did a phenomenal job! She was so nice, friendly, and gave great recommendations. Highly recommend this place, especially for families!

“While in Chicago we had to get some Chicago stuffed pizza.”
While in Chicago we had to get some Chicago stuffed pizza. It was delicious! Cooked perfectly. It does take extra cook time, 45 minutes - but it's well worth it! We'll be back!
