“Great Italian restaurant!!! The food was phenomenal.. I have zero complaints about anything about this restaurant. My favorite dish was the brick chicken, it was aromatic, flavorful and the chicken was very tender with the vegetables. I highly recommend this place and I will be returning back soon to try other items for their menu. Overall, I spend a little bit over a hundred, plus 20% tip.”

“We had a wonderful experience at Gia Mia Wheaton! The food was absolutely delicious, especially the wood-fired pizzas, they were perfectly crisp and full of flavor. The pasta dishes were equally impressive and cooked just right. On top of that, the service was outstanding. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome. Truly appreciate the great service and will definitely be coming back!”

“Excellent starters, excellent wine recommendation, excellent food!”

“Freaking INCREDIBLE experience. We cannot wait to dine here again. A major, MAJOR, thank you to Samantha, the manager, and Alexander, our waiter, who made celebrating my sister’s engagement possible! We will gladly travel the hour and a half to eat here again! Pics: my sister and her fiancé!”

“Wonderful Experience! We stopped in on a Sunday evening without a reservation and we were still promptly seated! The atmosphere was Amazing! Watching the staff cook the Pizzas right in front of us was so much fun!! Although it was loud it created a charged environment that was uplifting! We ordered the Arancini Mozzarella and they were little pieces of heaven! The Hammaker's Pie was Outstanding! And Service was Wonderful!”

“We came here Saturday night and it was AMAZING! We got zucchini fries, mushroom pizza, mac and cheese for my son and split short rib gnocchi!! The short rib gnocchi was recommended by the manager Mike who was very accommodating! He took the time to stop and talk to us about the menu even though you could tell he was extremely busy. Our waitress was also very kind and checked up on us regularly! Phone did not eat first. We will definitely be back! 🥰”

“Best gluten free pizza i have had. I got the hammers which had adorable and delicious little mushrooms.”

“Came back because we were craving the butternut sauash risotto, and we had to send it back :(. Even the pictures can show the difference, they changed the recipe and it tasted like eating roses. No thank you! Please go back to the OG. On the plus side, we switched it with the chicken parm....and was happy. The basil pesto sauce has a strong basil punch and I liked it, my partner did not. But the chicken itself was nice a thinned with a great crisp crust. Watch out for the little kick in the Paccheria vodka. it's nice but doesn't linger too long. Tired my little ones spaghetti and meatballs and I really liked it, tried to bargon with her for a trade.”

“We had a reservation at 6:45. We called in an hour early to double check that it had gone through through the Google maps app. They had it, but there was no confirmation text or email. When we arrived at 6:40 there were no tables available. We waited till 6:53 and for tables to open up. The girls at the front who were hostesses were sweet but it seems like there is no system in place to manage reservations and time slots. The food was great, the carbonara was odd because it’s cream based and they add a raw egg yolk to the top of the pasta. It was OK I would say an 8 out of 10, but it was not a true carbonara. The tables are pretty close together so it’s just that little downtown set up. The Caesar salad was very well done the lettuce was cut up into smaller pieces and they were thoughtful enough to divide that up for us since we were sharing. I think I would give it another try for maybe some of the pizza and a different pasta, but it was an OK meal.”

“We chose this restaurant for a Friday night meal. I heard decent reviews about this place. Well, the first impression was a good one. Very warm interior, with a large bar on a side and a large cupboard with olive oil, wine, cheeses etc. Very welcoming. We ordered an arugula salad with blackened shrimp and a parmesan chicken (one cant go wrong with those). The salad was overwhelmed with green leaves and a spicy dressing that was too strong for a salad. The blackened shrimp was very dry and too blackened for my taste. Chicken parmesan was way too crispy in comparison with other italian restaurants I have been too. A seasoning layer very hard to cut through with a knife. On top of that, we felt like we were rushed to leave since we did not order any deserts but just wanted to stay and enjoy the wine a little bit. Frankly, I am a little disappointed with the whole experience. Maybe I should not have come there with high expectations.”

“We are frequent customer and I do enjoy their service and food. However, the last time we visited, the gnocchi was burnt and left a bad burnt taste. We asked for a side of gnocchi and we got an even more burnt gnocchi. The staff did remove the dish from the bill, however, and we did go home very unsatisfied and with a bad taste”
