Whoever delivered our pizza didn't buzz or call to let us know the pizza was here, they just sat it out on the cement.
This place was awful because they wouldn't serve a party of 5. We were visiting Chicago and decided to try Georges.

Love this pizza! The deep dish crust is a nice treat at the end of the slices. Have ordered delivery and pickup tons of times but decided to do the order online and dine inside at the time of pickup. Super quality and tasty pizza!!

Finally got around to trying George’s deep dish and I am so happy I did. The pizza was amazing. My favorite parts were the tangy tomato sauce and sourdough crust. Bonus pts for char cup pepperoni. I only ordered the deep dish which I will DEFINITELY be getting again, but I am curious to try their tavern style. Make sure to order ahead of time. I ordered ours 1hr ahead of time for pick up on a Friday evening with no issues.

What a gem! If you love pizza and a connoisseur, then you would love this pizza! Handsdown, my favorite is classic cheese pizza. I always say the first time eating at a pizzeria You gotta get there cheese pizza to taste the sauce, the dough and the cheese. Pizza came out fresh super hot just way I like it! We went on a Saturday so that we can try their deep dish/ pan pizza. Man, what can I say about George's pizza dough? It's phenomenal! nice pillowy dough with an amazing chew and flavor! with a very very light caramelized crust I love it. Shits on peqouds in my opinion! His sauce has so much flavor and nice acidic which I prefer. The service was amazing. The owner's mom served us she was a such a sweetheart and a lovely lady. The parking was easy right in front. The restaurant has been completely remodeled has a decent amount of tables and seats. For sure George's is on my top three for deep dish/ pan pizzas in Chicago right now! 100% Recommend!

Excellence is on the menu and the word disappointment never enters the chat!! Either become a believer by trying or leave this earth never enjoying a slice of the best of the best!!

We loved everything about the deep dish pizza at George's. The crust, the sauce, the sausage, all really tasty. The shopkeep was also very sweet and helped me out. I really appreciated that. Will be back!

Fantastic pizza, both the deep dish and the thin crust. The thin crust is wafer thin and very crispy. The deep dish with sourdough crust makes this pizza unlike any of the other local competitors. Great flavor across the board. Online ordering and pickup is easy. Good variety of "specialty" pizzas to pick from if you're looking for something extra unique. Haven't tried yet, but cool how you can order online and then dine-in and the pizza is ready for you.

5 big booms from me. Drove an hour up north to try them out and had a great experience. The employee were very nice and made the visit worth it. Pizza was phenomenal, loved having a deep dish pizza without feeling fat after having some of it. It’s kinda like a thin crust deep dish if that makes sense. The sourdough crust was nice and fluffy which tasted wonderful and adding the ricotta cheese was definitely worth it. Overall, love this place and I didn’t even visit when the owners were around. Would highly recommend

George’s is legit one of the best deep dish joints on the North Side. Got the caramelized crust sausage & giardiniera pie—absolute fire. Crust was crispy, cheese pull was real, and the sauce tasted homemade. Spent around $28 for a personal pan and a drink. Heads up: it’s takeout-only and you gotta order ahead, but it’s worth the wait. This ain’t tourist pizza—it’s real-deal neighborhood stuff.

One thing I wish I was told about deep dish is the time it takes to cook. About 45 minutes. If you want to dine in, place the order early in the day and set a time to arrive. We were walking all day so waiting the hour wasn't a waste of our time. A great place to hang and enjoy the pizza.

Currently on holiday from the UK and decided to visit George’s Deep Dish after reading the rave reviews on Google and Reddit. I ordered the Clooney’s ER and it absolutely did not disappoint - easily a 10/10. The flavor was incredible. I’d highly recommend stopping by and I’d return in a heartbeat!
