“Great food and service.”

Great food and service. Since '63 when I was growing up in the neighborhood. Had a taste for the Linguini Frutti di Mare and it did not disappoint!! Great portions size. Friend had the Pollo Saltimbocca. And do not forget the fried calamari or drinks!!

Finally visited Calo Ristorante and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere is vibrant and friendly. They have a huge menu with lots of variety, and the portions are massive and delicious. A great spot in Andersonville for any occasion.

Strongly recommend this old school classic family owned Italian restaurant in Andersonville. We had a lovely Sunday evening experience. The top two reasons being service and quality of food. Brian, our server, was very accommodating and on top of it even though he was swamped and had many tables. I was really impressed he wrapped up food for us to go instead of bringing us a to-go box which is the norm these days. I was also very impressed by how polite and kind all the server staff was including bus boys and host. Food was excellent! Fried calamari was lightly breaded and very fresh, my main entree was the pesto and sun dried tomato with chicken pasta- fantastic! They even give you warm focaccia and bread to start with, salads and soups are Ala carte. I would go back for other entrees and dessert- coffee was delicious Try this restaurant- you won’t be disappointed!!

I haven’t even finished my meal and am already planning when I’ll be back! The portions were sizable. We got pesto pasta, ziti vodka and gnocchi and some drinks. I am impressed. Love love love this place. I’d recommend this 100% Oh and the butter was so good 🤩

“Outstanding restaurant!!”

Outstanding restaurant!!! My Frutti Di Mare was the best I have had, and it is an entree I usually order when on the menu. My wife ordered the Gorgonzola Gnocchi which was amazing. Like a nice bourbon with a different finish, each bite hit the pallette with 3 different flavors. It was amazing, and I am under selling it. Finally, any restaurant that has almost a dozen different Belgian Ales on the menu gets 4 stars as a baseline. The food should add another 6, but alas, I can only give it 5 stars. Updated: I have nothing to change about my initial review. Still awesome.

Calo Ristorante in the heart of Andersonville is a phenomenal Italian restaurant full of vibrant and energetic people! The food of course is top-notch. We have been here many times and every single thing we have had was served to perfection.
