The pizza was okay, but nothing special.
Just seeing my slice I already knew this is not going to go well. Take a look yourself.
The only artistic thing about here is the mural on the wall.

“The Art of Pizza is just two minutes from Michigan Avenue walking.”
The Art of Pizza is just two minutes from Michigan Avenue walking. When I come to Chicago this will be my new favorite place. The menu prices are the best in the city and the food is amazing. I came on Saturday 1-03-26 around 10:30 PM.

“They have deep dish pizza by the slice.”
They have deep dish pizza by the slice. Absolutely delicious. I got the arts special deep dish, and also a second slice of arts special but thin crust. Both were great, and the best thing about it being by the slice is that you dont have to wait for it to be done. Some friends got the spinach one and that one was good too (if you don’t eat meat). They also had quite a good variety of vegetarian food. The service was nice! Very kind

“Stopped in on my last night in Chicago; the restaurant is small but clean with very friendly staff.”
Stopped in on my last night in Chicago; the restaurant is small but clean with very friendly staff. I opted to dine in and asked what they recommended and was told most tourists order the stuffed pizza, so I got a slice of the special (sausage, mushrooms, green peppers, and onions) and was not disappointed. Even though the crust is thick, it didn't taste or feel like too much bread and the sauce on top tasted both slow cooked and fresh - a bit of an oxymoron but that was probably my favorite part even though I don't typically like much sauce. I also loved that they sell it by the slice - I'm traveling alone and don't have a place to store leftovers so that was perfect. I look forward to visiting again the next time I come to Chicago.

I came to visit Chicago and tried to get into a restaurant that was packed. Since I was hungry, I went into Arts of Pizza — and it turned out to be the best Chicago-style pizza I’ve ever had. I highly recommend it! It was a very pleasant surprise.

“Tiny little pizza place by where the Bears play.”
Tiny little pizza place by where the Bears play. I walked past it and wanted to grab a slice. I ate the pan and stuffed pizza. Both were really good slices. Pan cheese was $5.20 and stuffed spinach and mushrooms was $5.70.

“Their pizza was absolutely incredible.”
Their pizza was absolutely incredible. We ordered the Chicago-style thin crust, and it exceeded all expectations. The crust was perfectly balanced, soft but not flimsy or overly chewy, with a thin crispy finish at the end. The sauce was flavorful, striking the ideal balance between sweetness, saltiness, and tomatoey. You can order online or stop in at any time to see what they have available and ready by the slice. When we stopped in, there were 6-8 different types of hot and ready pizzas to choose from. Overall highly recommend visiting. Art of Pizza definitely deserves their award of being voted #1!

“Art of Pizza is so much better than the touristy places like Gino's or Giordano's, it's a delicious experience.”
Art of Pizza is so much better than the touristy places like Gino's or Giordano's, it's a delicious experience! The food here has been absolutely fantastic each time we have been there. Their pizzas are bursting with flavor, with a perfectly cooked crust that's neither too doughy nor too crispy. Whether you're a thin-crust traditionalist or a deep-dish devotee, they have something to satisfy your cravings. Art of Pizza isn't just about the food. The staff has in the past been friendly and welcoming, but as of late, they have been rude, unprofessional, and not willing to take the time to listen, have gotten several orders wrong, and unwilling to make it right. Pizza is decent, service has recently taken a nosedive

“Good pizza by the slice.”
Good pizza by the slice! I tried the thin crust, pan crust, and stuffed. All were good but I highly recommend the stuffed crust. I will definitely come back if I’m in the area. It was very cheap as well.
