I really wanted to like this restaurant but was immensely disappointed.
I recently ordered delivery and it was a mixed experience.
Old design so you may expect traditional Italian food… but not. Service was just those 3 stars, no waiting time..

My husband and I had one of our first dates here. Tonight I had this roasted chicken with rosemary and garlic. Its sooo good. The service is beyond amazing. They remember their clientele. Im actually dining alone, and I feel like im dining with family. There's always a lovely special...and a good martini. Pasta is always on point. I cannot say enough good things. If you're going to be in the neighborhood....just give it a go!

Lovely local Italian place. Had the opportunity to sit and the bar with Meyer, a regular, and Charlie the bar tender. Service was amazing, locals were friendly and the food was fabulous!!

Wrigleyville's little secret.(Taste of Italy) Phenomenal!! Best Italian food we ate and that's saying a lot! I was born and raised in Chicago. I can't say enough about this restaurant. The service was outstanding. Ambiance was spot on! Highly recommend!! We will be back!!

Great local Italian joint. The ambiance is awesome as is the staff. HIGHLY recommend. Voted Best Brunch in East Lakeview. Sunday Funday is a must. Saturday Brunch if you're in the hood.

This intimate neighborhood Italian restaurant is a true gem. The cozy, welcoming interior and attentive service make it a standout, with thoughtful touches like bringing out shared dishes already split for two. Their menu offers consistently good options. The beet salad is refreshing, and the braised short rib in a rich red wine sauce is deeply satisfying. Daily soups like butternut squash and shrimp gazpacho are always a highlight, and their pasta - both from the regular menu and daily specials - is reliably delicious. We are always pleased with our visits and look forward to coming back for more.

Absolutely great time! Visiting and love local Italian haunts. Didn’t get to meet Angelina but Anton tonight was a Devine server. Our helper (sorry I don’t know about name) was throwing back espresso and laughs with us. As out of towner besties we wanted a local food spot with charm and you get it all here. 100% recommend eggplant parm, risotto, and a drink (or 2). Note the goose on the bench as you walk in. Iconic & poetic.

We celebrated my friends birthday with a group of 13 and had a fabulous time! Their espresso martinis are devious and creamy! Their food was amazing and their service went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time.

“The dinner was SO good.”
The dinner was SO good. I went with a friend and we both had the pear salad, which was excellent. For dinner I had asparagus ravioli. Super good. My friend had polo angeline, which was recommended by the waiter, and she said was very good. For dessert we shared a creme brulee, which was amazing! Service was excellent! Angelina's was good all the way around. See photos. The only challenge was parking, which is street parking. Eventually we found a spot.

Some of the best italian food I've had in years. Amazing pasta, super well seasoned and tasty sauce, muscles in white wine sauce was dreamy! Definitely recommend getting a reservation!
