This place is a gem! We stopped in for an early dinner during the week. Emmanuel, our server, was so polite and accommodating. I couldn’t decide between two pastas and he offered to give me 1/2 portion of each. The food was absolutely divine. I highly recommend stopping in here for your next Italian meal!

“Delectably delicious dinner.”

Delectably delicious dinner! Yes, alliteration is required because our meal was poetic. From the fried zucchini blossoms stuffed with ricotta, which were light and airy, to the mouthwatering Gargannelli al Salmone (my favorite), and Tagliolini al Limone (that my date and I split), to the refreshingly sweet and tangy watermelon infused Baby Maker, I cannot rave enough about this gem of a restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was impeccably attentive. I highly recommend Il Girasole! Update: We came back for seconds and this place never disappoints! This time we had the Tortellini con Salsa Di Noce and the Branzino Entero. For dessert, we had La Panna Cotta Con Fragola E Caramello. We ate every last scrumptious morsel off our plates for every course. We were given the same undivided attention by our previous server who remembered our last order down to every last detail (our first time here was seven months ago)! Again, I HIGHLY recommend!!!

“This was a great addition to the area.”

This was a great addition to the area. The food is great. We had 4 different pastas and lived them all. So excited we forgot pictures. The gnocchi, buccatini carbonara, the sausage pea one, and the fettuccine bolognese were great. The arranchini were great but the meatballs were amazing. Great mixed drinks as well. Tirimisu was one of the better I've had. Will be back to try more things!

Came here to dinner with 8 of us and had an amazing experience. The service was impeccable, food tasted super fresh and flavorful, the ambiance was cozy. You truly feel that you are welcomed and treated like family. Some of our favorite dishes were fried zucchini blossoms, beef meatball appetizer, cheesy focaccia, fettuccine bolognese, ossu buco with risotto, home made ravioli, and risotto with wild mushroom and truffle. Honestly cannot go wrong. All of us really loved the experience and we will definitely be coming back!

As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a young gentleman in the bar. Very polite and welcoming I waited for my date. Very tasty Expreso Martini accompanied by the baked calamari was outstanding. Taglioni Al Limone was so buttery and mouth-watering delicious by far the best pasta I've ever tasted. The atmosphere and environment was delightful and the staff were so attentive and gave us great service. I am confident we will be regulars and definitely return. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience.

They had me at daily, fresh, handmade pasta! What an amazing little restaurant with such a welcoming feel. It's cozy and warm and quaint. Love the staff here. Everyone is very polite and makes you feel welcome. Very impressed with the options on the dinner menu. Loved my dish (limón pasta and my husband was blown away by the bucatini carbonara).

Il Girasole Trattoria might be my new favorite Italian place in the city! It had a cozy and welcoming vibe for our Valentine’s Day dinner. The burrata was the highlight of our meal and the veal stuffed ravioli in mushroom sauce was full of flavor. Highly recommend a visit!
