My wife and I had our anniversary dinner here and the service was phenomenal. I forgot the waiters name but he gave us a complimentary dessert that was the highlight of our overall amazing meal. We plan on coming back soon! 10/10 experience.

Amazing restaurant - had the best whipped feta of my life (and I eat a lot of cheese). Amazing vibes and ambiance! Our server was very helpful in making recommendations, and for all my fellow gluten free friends - they have a whole gf menu!! They also have a whole menu for vegetarians as well. It was my husband’s birthday and they made sure to celebrate him with the best soft serve ice cream to end the night. Can’t wait to return!

Had an incredible time at Alpana!! The braised octopus was on another level 👍👍🔥🔥 super tender and full of flavor, honestly one of the best I’ve tried in the city. Their wine selection is amazing too, with bottles you don’t see everywhere and perfect pairings. The place feels cozy, the service is smooth, and it’s definitely a spot worth checking out.

Alpana is my favorite spot for special occasions—especially my birthday. I love that it’s a women-owned restaurant, and the food is always outstanding. The Butter Chicken Meatballs and the Pistachio Pesto Pasta are absolute must-orders. If you want a place in Chicago that feels both celebratory and welcoming, Alpana never misses!

We celebrated a birthday dinner here, and overall it was a really lovely experience. The place is cozy, welcoming, and has a warm atmosphere. Most of the dishes were delicious — only a couple of items weren’t exactly to our taste, but that’s probably just because we’re not used to that type of cuisine. The service was excellent as well: attentive, friendly, and very professional. Everything came out on time, and the staff made sure we felt comfortable throughout the evening. Wonderful dining experience at Alpana! The food was absolutely delicious, every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. I highly recommend trying their appetizers and main dishes; everything we ordered was spot on. Special thanks to our waitress, Stephanie, for her excellent service, to the bartender for the support, and to the manager, who was very kind and attentive throughout our visit. The warm and welcoming atmosphere made the evening even more enjoyable. Definitely recommended!

Alpana completely blew me away. The Brussels sprout crostini was hands-down the best I’ve ever had…crispy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The short rib pasta was another standout: buttery, hearty, and full of rich flavor that made it absolutely unforgettable. The restaurant also has a fantastic patio, perfect for enjoying their impressive wine selection in a relaxed but elevated atmosphere. And if you go, definitely ask for John. He was an over-the-top fabulous waiter who made the whole night even better with his energy and attention to detail. Alpana is easily a must-visit spot in Gold Coast for both food and service.

We ordered the whipped feta and truffle honey appetizer and the tagliatelle verdura with chicken. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! This is the best Italian food I’ve had, I highly recommend! The waiters will also help you choose a wine that will pair well with your main dish! My boyfriend took me for my birthday and they gave me a happy birthday card and complimentary birthday sundae! (It was the best soft serve that I’ve ever had)
