“Absolutely amazing dining experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming and the service was fast and attentive. The restaurant has a clean, modern atmosphere that’s perfect for enjoying authentic South Indian food. The Masala Dosa was one of the best I’ve had—crispy on the outside, soft inside, and served with flavorful sambar and delicious chutneys. Every bite tasted fresh and authentic. The Special Chicken is an absolute must-try! It was perfectly cooked, juicy, packed with rich spices, and full of authentic South Indian flavors. If you’re visiting this restaurant, don’t leave without ordering it. The presentation of the food, the quality of the ingredients, and the portion sizes were all excellent. Everything tasted homemade with authentic flavors. The drinks were refreshing, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. Overall done good like wow 🫢😋😋 If you’re looking for delicious South Indian cuisine with great service and a comfortable atmosphere, this is definitely the place to visit. I’ll definitely be coming back with my family and friends. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Must Try: 🥞 Masala Dosa | 🍗 Special Chicken | 🥤 avocado drink and special chaai☕️”

“My favorite Indian Restaurant in the area. Superb food. Everything I've tried has been great. Update: The new Monday Mandi is too good!!”

“I’ve already visited Magic Pepper in Niles three times just for their incredible, must-try Mandi—the meat is perfectly tender and the rice is flavourful. On top of that the service and ambience are really good. We were a group of 4 people, so we ordered two Mandis (one 1-person portion and one 2-person portion), and it was more than enough food. You can also add an extra piece or rice for a small charge if needed.”

“This is our favorite Indian restaurant. The food is FANTASTIC and always cooked perfectly. The service is always excellent as well. Definitely check this place out if you haven't been. We consider it one of Niles' hidden gems.Magic Pepper”

“Best Indian food I've had. The Tikka Masalas are especially good, paneer and chicken. Dipping the naan in the sauce is very tasty. Try the mango lassi, a delicious drink. I've tried their other dishes and have not been disappointed.”

“I had a great experience at magic pepper restaurant. I tried the dosa and it was perfectly cooked and delicious. The shakes were amazing — I tried the Sharjah to Chicago shake, and the taste was outstanding with chunky nuts and a rich banana flavor. The parotta was super fresh, soft, and incredibly tasty. They also have a well-stocked bar with a wide variety of flavorful drinks, which really adds to the overall experience. Finally, I ended the meal with some dessert — the magic special falooda, which was rich, colorful, and absolutely satisfying with flavorful ice-creams on top Highly recommend this place for great food and drinks. Definitely worth visiting again!”

“I absolutely miss the days I enjoyed delicious Biryani while working in Al Khobar, KSA for two years. That longing led me to discover Magic Pepper, a new restaurant that just opened near our apartment in Des Plaines. My wife and I were eager to try their menu. As soon as the food arrived from Sandiya, I was reminded of the incredible Biryani I used to have in Al Khobar. My wife chose their flavorful Chicken Tikka Masala, while I went for the Lamb Biryani. And let me tell you—it was amazing! The taste transported me back to those memorable days. I can’t wait to come back here again whenever my Biryani craving hits—this place is a gem!”

“It's a lovely space, we were able to get a spot immediately. We got chicken, curry, malabar paratha and naan. They also have fresh orange juice, which is great. The portions are generous and food tasty, the service friendly and courteous, will definitely be returning! They also seem to have fun cocktails.”

“The food is phenomenal from the menu items to their unlimited dosa night in Wednesdays. If you’re looking for an authentic South Indian place well this is it! The food is great the spice can be adjusted to your liking and we had that with each family member from mild to spicy these guys know how to make it right! Def worth the trip. The dosas are crispy and taste amazing. The idli so soft and the medu vada were great. Their sambhar and chutneys were super flavorful. Try this place yourself.”

“Our family visited this place and the food is good, the service is great and the atmosphere is also nice. We have ordered Baby Corn Manchurian, Gobi Manchurian for starters and vegetable fried rice and vegetable biryani, taste is great and at last ended with a desert Faluda. Go visit and give it a try.”
