“I had an amazing experience.”
I had an amazing experience. The service was top-notch—friendly, quick, and attentive. But the real star was the food! Every dish reminded me of the authentic Surati flavors

“We loved it here, the food was absolutely delicious.”
We loved it here, the food was absolutely delicious! I could eat the chicken masala wrap everyday until the end of time, super duper flavorful. The chai, the amdavadi touch sandwich and the egg bhurji are also a must try. The pani puri was just okay, wouldn’t try again. Service was great and very quick. Limited sitting inside.

Recently had the pleasure of eating at Eggholic on my trip to Chicago and I was blown away by the authentic flavors they served. I ordered the Paneer Gotala, which is a dish made with Paneer (Indian Cottage Cheese) and a spicy tomato based sauce. The paneer was so flavorful, and the sauce was delicious. It was the perfect combination of flavors and textures and reminded me of eating food in India. I was very impressed with the food at this place and I want to give a special shout-out to the team working there. They were all friendly and attentive, and made us feel very welcome. They also took the time to explain the different dishes to my non-Indian partner, which we really appreciated. The Dahi Puri was a bit on the sweeter side but nevertheless delicious. If you're in Chicago, I highly recommend checking out this amazing Indian restaurant. You won't be disappointed at all.

“Great place to visit if you love Indian food.”
Great place to visit if you love Indian food. Lots of egg-based dishes, and we loved the egg kheema. It's very creamy and delicious! The owner also gave us a complementary vada pav, which turned out to be really good. The egg wrap was a bit on the salty side though.

“Absolutely superb egg dishes.”
Absolutely superb egg dishes. Especially if you are Gujarati and from Surat and love egg based dishes, then this place is heaven for you to satisfy your craves for eggs based specialty dishes such as Surati Ghotalo, Lachko & Lapeti... only Surati gujjus will know these wonderful mouth-watering dishes as they are named gujju as well 😋😉 go and try once to feel it what I am saying! Staff is so friendly and courteous. Chef is so welcoming as well. Love this place. Visited 2nd time again. Whenever I am coming to Chicago, I definitely will make it a point to come here once, at least. This time I tried their new dish Ghotalo 2.0

“Fantastic place overall.”
Fantastic place overall. Would highly recommend the egg wrap, the paneer wrap, the raita, and the masala papad. Team was super and Dhwani was a great server. She was able to recommend some top notch menu items and made my sister and I feel welcome into the restaurant. Will recommend visiting if you’re in the neighbourhood or looking for a wrap! :)

After the place we were going to visit turned out a bit differently from what we expected, we came to EggHolic which was such a welcome change. We ate the masala papad, paneer kadai, and lava paneer pulav. We also had a mango lassi. Everthing was delicious, but my favorite was the paneer kadai! It was creamy and had a flavorful mix of spices. I can't wait to go back and try the egg dishes.

“Casual Indian restaurant with inexpensive, relatively authentic food.”
Casual Indian restaurant with inexpensive, relatively authentic food. Egg wrap - omlette filled with masala wrapped in a roti. I really enjoyed this one, it had the right amount of spice and the flavors reflected actual Indian egg restaurants (honestly better than some egg places I’ve been to in India). Surti gotalo - the construction of the dish (with two fried eggs on top) were what you expect, but the gravy was too sweet. Ask for it spicy if you order this one. Also, eat gotalo with bread not roti!

“The girl at the counter was so incredibly nice and accommodating.”
The girl at the counter was so incredibly nice and accommodating. I went with my best friend this past weekend on our way to the airport and we didn't realize it was smaller restaurant. She made sure we could sit down, luggage and all. I ordered the mango mastani and it was SO GOOD! the paneer masala sandwich was also great! I definitely recommend this place!

“We are so glad that we no longer have to drive to Schaumburg to get their food.”
We are so glad that we no longer have to drive to Schaumburg to get their food. Their Niles location also just opened as well. The menu is a little different from the one at Schaumburg, there are less egg appetizer options but more curry options. They don't have the Biriyani here though but the Pulav, it is not the same since the chicken is cooked with the rice! You have to try the floating omelette, it is awesome.
