Bombay Eats / Bombay Wraps — indian in Loop; the samosas is the highlight. The kind of spot that earns loyalty, not hype. Traditional preparation with honest flavors. Wallet-friendly, fast service.

“Delightfully warm and delicious”
If you are serving Indian food please give the people Indian food and don't try to be American, Indian and Mexican at the same time.
The food here is good, however do not order with them directly.
This is more of a Mexican than an Indian restaurant. The people running the place are peculiarly rude.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bombay Eats in downtown Chicago, and I must say, it was a delightful experience that exceeded my expectations. As someone who doesn't frequent downtown often, I am truly glad I made the decision to visit this hidden gem. First and foremost, let's talk about the food. The flavors at Bombay Eats were simply outstanding. Each dish was prepared with utmost care, resulting in a culinary journey that left my taste buds dancing with joy. The food was not only hot and fresh but also wonderfully seasoned, showcasing the skill and mastery of the chefs. The flavors were robust, authentic, and truly satisfied my cravings for Indian cuisine. Whether you're a fan of mild or spicy, Bombay Eats offers a range of options to cater to various palates. What impressed me even more was the fast-casual concept, similar to Chipotle. This setup is a definite plus if you find yourself short on time but still want to enjoy a delicious meal. The efficient and streamlined process ensures that you can savor your meal without any unnecessary delays. It's a great option for those seeking a quick yet satisfying dining experience. I must commend the staff at Bombay Eats for their quick service and friendly demeanor. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. The attentive staff members were more than happy to assist with any inquiries and made sure that my dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish. Their friendliness added an extra touch of comfort, making me feel welcomed and appreciated as a guest. Overall, Bombay Eats has won me over as a loyal customer. If I find myself in the city again, I won't hesitate to return and relish in their delectable offerings. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking authentic Indian cuisine, fantastic flavors, efficient service, and a memorable dining experience.

“Absolutely loved the chicken tikka wrap as I've never imagined parathas to be used as a wrap.”
Absolutely loved the chicken tikka wrap as I've never imagined parathas to be used as a wrap. Great flavours, decent portion of chicken! Definitely an interesting take on Indian food. Didn't get drinks as I thought they look small for the prices they were going for, but the food is good! I would totally return to try other items on the menu.

“A little Indian surprise in downtown Chicago, Bombay puts it all in a wrap.”
A little Indian surprise in downtown Chicago, Bombay puts it all in a wrap. Twice now, just quickly in and out of the City, I had a craving for something with curry/Indian foods flavor, and Bombay Wraps just popped up into view. This tonge I'm saving the location on my map! Personally I recommend the Lamb Curry. You have a choice of extra toppings, but I just chose all (onion, lettuce and tomato-cucumber combo). Great flavor and fills a whole. But today I tried something extra. Potato Chips. Its crispy chips, fried while you wait, so tou get it hot, and off course with a little Indian spice sprinkled on top. Delightfully warm and delicious! We'll be back!!!

“I love the flavors on the menu.”
I love the flavors on the menu. Everything is very good. It’s a fast food take on Indian food. I always get the samosas and a wrap. I’ve tried a few different wrap flavors and they are all good. I like that the portion is manageable and priced appropriately. This is a go to spot for me.

“Stopped by to get some lunch.”
Stopped by to get some lunch. Took the Chicken Tikka and Lamb Curry warps with a Lentil Dal soup. The Chicken Tikka was great, the Lamb Curry was just okay but because of it being so wet half of my warp was soggy and uneatable before I got to the office. The lentil soup was nice but a bit too spicy. Service was okay.

Perhaps the first in Chicago area, fast and casual Indian restaurant that hits all the right notes through a limited but satisfying menu, whether you are looking to snack on something Indianish or wish a filling meal. Freshly prepared before you, the menu items are custom created to order. The staff is knowledgeable and ready to help make a decision. This has become my go to place when I am in a hurry.

“Spent 15$ on two wraps.”
Spent 15$ on two wraps. One wrap was Potato Cauliflower with spicy mint & coriander chutney. It was awesome. Other wrap was Lamb curry wrap which was bad. It smelled like goat on the first bite, I couldn't finish it. I am a lamb lover and I don't smell goat in kebabs or curry. I wasted money on the Lamb wrap.
