Tried this place last week on a whim. I love local, ethnic food restaurants, and I was walking by this place and decided to study the menu posted at the entrance. While I was studying the menu, a stranger gave an unsolicited endorsement that the Biryani rice with boneless chicken was the way to go. So, now I gotta try it, right? I decided to give it a try along with garlic Naan, carryout. It was hot outside, and while I was waiting, the woman that took my order offered a glass of water, great hospitality! When I got my food, she mentioned that they included a complimentary rice pudding to try, wow! Got back to the office and unpacked the food. Very generous portion size (the food completely filled the container to the top), and the dish was excellent! A good amount heat (flavor), perfect for me. I like spicy as long as the flavor is still there. I don't like spicy that is only hot. I will definitely be back to dine in. It is a small, intimate place. There is road construction on Canal that is probably not helping this place, so stop in a support a local business!

This is a petite restaurant about a 7 min walk from the Union Station, it offers Nepalese, Tibetan, Sherpa and Indian Foods, the taste delicious and authentic, we ordered Prawn Curry, Mutter Paneer as our main dishes plus breads and Mango Lassi, they are all very good, I especially like the Prawn Curry, the taste is excellent!

The Johl Momo is yummy. Steamed, not fried with a curry sauce. I also tried pakoda and for a starter, it’s big enough to share. Especially after a plate of momo. I like the butter chicken too but the sauce was a bit heavy. Highly recommend, especially if staying nearby.

Got the Mustang Alu potatoes and Goat Thali. Everything was great, especially liked the goat. A solid amount of food and they went above and beyond, providing us extra rice!

Aythentic Nepali cuisine, operated by Nepali folk and chefs. Tried the steam chicken momos and goat thali, both were legit! Also seems like a down to earth place without any frills.

The post is not enough to justify how good this place is and the taste. A little unknown but we stumbled upon it while looking for momos. I have eaten my fair share of momos around, but this was the most genuine jhol momos I have ever eate. Intrigued by the Sichuan flavors in it and the authenticity. Even their mustange piro aloo is a great chatpata appetizer. Don't forget to try their rice desert in the end! It was the best I have ever had in my experience of eating a rice kheer too.

Everything was gorgeously flavored, amply portioned, and speedily prepared within a relaxing atmosphere... a simply delectable experience! I popped in here after arriving back in Chicago via the Greyhound, as the bus station is just two blocks away, and I cannot believe I haven't come here sooner. While I mourn for my tragically ignorant younger self, I rejoice for my newly enhanced culinary future! Will you rejoice with me? I ordered the "Indian Delight (Vegetable Samosa), the "Himalayan Sherpa Dumplings (Jhol Momo)", and masala tea. They also provided a complimentary dessert of Gajar ka Halwa. I 11/10 recommend each of those items! You can thank me for the rec by gracing this establishment with your presence, so we may all continue to enjoy, in blissful perpetuity, such a marvelous experience.

Solid Indian and Nepalese food! I ordered the chicken vindaloo and naan, which was far more than enough food. The servers were also quite accommodating when we came with a group of 5 people to try to make room for us (definitely better to come with a smaller group). They have a ton of options, from curries to Momos to their bread selection, all of which I thought was done quite well.
