“A gem in the Bridgeport neighborhood. This Chinese European fusion place is great. The price is surprisingly reasonably for the amount and quantity of food you get. This is a mama papa own restaurant. The staff are friendly and personal. For two people, four Old Fashions, fixed menu, plus Korean fried chicken, we spent $232 plus we tipped generous in cash. Love this place and will definitely come back.”

“由菜肴出品, 到就餐场景, 以及空间的人文气息都让我感到惊艳!我非常喜欢中国传统文化. 未来我将会和我的华人好友 将这里当做举办Party的首选。”

“My friends and I dined here this evening and I started writing this review as soon as I got home. Our experience overall was phenomenal. The service was fantastic. The food was exquisite and came out fairly quickly. Cocktails: I had the "Smoke Show" cocktail, was so great that I had two of them. Two of my friends ordered the French 75, which they loved. Food: The four us shared the Koren Fried Chicken (4 pieces) as an appetizer and then each of us ordered the prix fixe menu. We all had the lobster beet starter. For the second course, I ordered the crab cake, while my friends ordered the diver scallops and the dumplings. All were delicious - no disappointments. For the main/third course, I ordered the General Tso's Chicken, and everyone else ordered the duck. And for dessert, three of us ordered the lemon cheesecake, and one person ordered the blueberry cake. I would return to this restaurant without hesitation. I was surprised that there were so few people on a Saturday, but part of the reason could be the location. It is not in a lively, restaurant-heavy area, and it is hard to tell from the outside that the restaurant is even open. But once you enter, it is an adorable place with a clean, aesthetically pleasing design. I'm happy that my friend found this place. All four of us enjoyed our meals and would definitely return.”

“An excellent experience! The four course meal was very good, and there are numerous options for each course. I particularly enjoyed the Salmon vinegarette salad. The service was friendly, and I really appreciated the server's willingness to explain parts of the menu to me (I was looking for a traditional hot tea and she recommended a white tea, which was very good, though a bit expensive). I would highly recommend checking out Han 202!”

“Han 202 is a modern Asian fusion restaurant located in Chicago's Bridgeport neighborhood. I have written multiple reviews on TripAdvisor and Yelp consistently and most accurately describing this quaint restaurant as a "Hidden Gem." Our most recent dining experience on Mother's Day was consistent with past visits. Hans stands out due to its inventive takes on traditional Chinese dishes offering a unique dining experience that blends contemporary presentation with bold, comforting flavors. The restaurant's sleek, minimalist interior and intimate setting features clean white tablecloths, soft lighting, and a calm, understated elegance. With limited seating, Han 202 provides a cozy and personal dining environment, making it ideal for date nights or small gatherings. Han 202 is renowned for its prix fixe tasting menu, which offers a curated selection of dishes that change seasonally, but be careful about supplemental charges for some menu items. Diners can expect a multi-course meal that showcases a fusion of Asian flavors with modern culinary techniques; THIS CHEF IS 5 STARS! The salads are all fresh. The appetizers unique--BEST SHRIMP TOAST ANYWHERE. Signature dishes include inventive takes on classics, such as Chilean Seabass (pictured), duck with hoisin reduction, and delicate dumplings. The Ribeye & Lobster is divine. Lobster tails cooked to perfection. All of the varied menu offerings are OUTSTANDING! Just make certain that you save room for the Hot Chocolate Souffle for desert. The attentive staff ensures that each course is timed perfectly, allowing guests to savor the progression of flavors throughout the meal. The service from a restaurant with TWO waiters, one doubling as the greeter, a Head Chef and a Sous Chef is remarkably consistently amazing!”

“First time here. And it won't be the last. I've already started telling people about it. Four course PRIX FIXE menu for a modest price (with occasional up charges) is a great deal. And everything was delicious!”

“Definition of a hidden gem. Everything was amazing and an extensive drinks menu. I had: 1. Smoked salmon (fantastic vinaigrette) 2. Diver scallops (I would use that sauce for anything) 3. Snow crab roll (best roll of sushi I've ever had) 4. Grouper in black bean sauce & 5. Blueberry pie”

“Best service and amazing food. Highly recommend !! We happened to go by accident and it’s the best discovery and will def come back.”

“Very affordable and an excellent course. Some dishes were more balanced than others however overall it was a great experience.”

“We did the 5 course meal. Overall I enjoyed every dish, some not so much as others but that comes down to preference. Favorites were the salt and pepper calamari, generl tso chicken & ginger icecream!”

“I came here for my birthday dinner with a pretty large group (12 people). They were so accommodating and the service was incredible. I don't know if there is a better example of value and taste than Han 202. The pre fixe menu for $39 feels like a steal when you factor in the quality of the dishes! I will definitely be a repeat customer here.”

“came here to celebrate our engagement several years ago, and came back recently to celebrate a new job. just like i remember, the food and service are absolutely delightful. we had the wagyu apple salad, dumplings, scallops, chicken, and red snapper - all of which were completely delicious. our server also brought us the tuna and salmon sushi, both of which were also phenomenal. i wish i could have taken a pint of the ginger ice cream home with me! we left feeling full in heart and stomach, with the immediate thought to make our next trip back soon. like a lot of the comments say, this truly is a hidden gem, full of kind people and great food.”
