The asada "steak" torta was very filling it had a great meat ratio as well loved that they didn't take a long time and when I got home the food was still hot

Tamales were chunky and saucy! Had rajas con queso + verde de pollo- did not disappoint! The best in the area! They also have fresh cafe de olla and a variety of atole flavors, my favorite being de nuez!

Ordered from Gordo's Tamales for the first time today! We got 4 green, 1 fresa and 1 frijoles con queso and a champurrado... ALL PERFECT IN PORTION AND FLAVOR! Definitely our new favorite spot. 😊

Tamales have the potential to be good the flavor is there but the meat isn’t. I understand everyone is trying to make a buck but the quality of the product should come first and biting into only masa isn’t my idea of a good tamale and it wasn’t just one it was the whole dozen.

I literally am about to cry because my food was so fresh and so good. It was prepared in a timely manner and the lady who hand me off my food, was all smiles. I tell people about this place often. It’s very rare that I have yet. It’s had a bad experience. The tamales are juicy. I almost ate the wrapper. I had also some steak tacos. I’m sorry I wasn’t provide the pictures but my food was delicious. Thank you guys. I will be back maybe tomorrow.

Los mejores tamales de Chicago ! The best tamales in Chicago. I’ve been ordering Gordos for years since they first open and now that I live on the north side I still do , I order Uber eats or DoorDash once a week at least lol he estado comprando tamales desde que abrieron, y cuando me moví para el norte, todavía ordeno una vez a la semana o más !
