“George’s has been family owned and operated since 1948. It’s a no frills, big portions, downright good hot dogs and Greek fare establishment. They have raised prices but it’s worth it. Gyro came piping hot, tzatziki, onions, tomatoes, classic. With a mountain of crisp fries and a squeeze bottle of ketchup. I was kindly given a fork with my napkin - I think they knew I would need it. Fast service and attentive staff. Clean environment. Patio option for the summer. Dog and kid friendly. Hot dogs are clearly the star here—and for good reason. I got the classic hot dog and fries combo for $8, and it hit the spot. Simple, satisfying, and no frills—just good flavor and solid value. Service was warm and genuine. You can tell the people here care about what they’re doing, which adds to the charm of the place. “I walk and run by George’s pretty often and was craving a gyro so I decided to stop in. It’s a bit of a whole in the wall but sometimes that’s the best kind of vibe. I decided to get the gyro plate which came with way more food than I expected. It was pretty delicious and came out pretty quickly. I took it to go and it held up well in transit.”
