I tried both the deep dish for which the restaurant is named and the tavern/cracker thin crust, and both were mind-blowingly good. When friends and family come from out of town and want to eat local pizza, I'm taking them to George's (this is perhaps the highest praise I can give a pizza restaurant).”
“The small story about businesses that struggle to get their legs, when they finally get their opportunity, this is the staple. The owner is a genuine dude, will make sure you're heard and give you some of his time even when hes extremely busy for out of towners. We went with the tavern thin which is also sourdough. Its similar to the texture of a cheese-it and a saltine but for a pizza is perfect and amazing in so many ways. If you like spicy, go with the hot honey. WATCH OUT for the red pepper flakes, they will get you! Pre order for dine-in, sit down and your food comes out in minutes HOT. We are 2 hours away. Will visit again and recommend to all of our friends that visit the area. -Jeremy”

“This is some great sourdough crust tavern-style pizza!! The crust is incredibly crunchy and the ingredients are fresh and flavorful. Ordered pepperoni with half mushroom and half spicy cherry peppers. The heat and earthiness of the veggies with salty cupped pepproni blended well with the tasty red sauce. I luv that its a “homey” feeling in this resto. A small family run business. The place is clean, inviting and the people are very friendly. And order the salted caramel cheesecake which is sourced locally. Delicious!!!”
“I picked up my order and they had accidentally forgot to give me the cheesecake for it. They delivered it to me without me asking! I got the White Album Deep Dish and the Clooney’s ER Tavern style and they were both delicious! Will be back again.”
