“We had an extraordinary dining experience at Gemini from start to finish. The food was outstanding, every dish was beautifully prepared, and the drink pairings complemented the meal perfectly. Combined with the exceptional service, it made for one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making Gemini an excellent American-style restaurant to bring family, friends, or out-of-town guests. Every part of the evening exceeded our expectations, from the quality of the food to the attentive hospitality. I had a fantastic time and would highly recommend Gemini to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.”

“We had an amazing experience dining here. My friend and I went in for a weekend brunch and got outdoor seating. Loved our food, the professional service and the overall energy of the place. Service was a little slow - understandable for a busy weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed my salad. I will definitely be back to try other items.”

“Stopped in here on a Friday night, sat outside on the patio and had a great experience. The general manager Tom was a total class act, helping us out with anything we needed. The menu here is diverse in the best way possible, with a great array of American fusion and seafood to suit a wide variety of pallets. The salmon was incredible as well as the Halibut. Cocktails were also well made. One of the better restaurants in the area, would highly recommend. Just make sure you make a reservation at least a week out!”

“It’s all about that Vibe! Wow, what a delightful dining experience at Gemini. Came here with the Mrs for pre-Vday dinner. The host was kind enough to seat us in a booth near the window - providing more space and privacy. And, from there everything was A++. Our server was a gem, food so flavor and the night ended with a rose brought to our Table. My only “slight complaint” - an old fashion should come w/ a big rock? Still, 5-Star all the way!!”

“The three-sided bar was hopping at 5pm on a Friday. I ordered the steak frites and a glass of red wine—it was the perfect end to a long wintry week. Service was excellent. I will be back!”

“Chicken ceasar salad was excellent! Service was great although it was super busy.”

“Absolutely incredible experience here. My fiancé and I went here on a date and we were blown away by the service. Zach and Doug made it one of the most memorable, special dates we’ve had in a while. We just got dessert (the cake, which was fantastic) but will definitely be back for a full dinner experience. From making sure we had a vase to put my flowers in to checking in on our experience in a genuine way - this trip felt especially personal. Thank you again to Doug and Zach. We haven’t stopped talking about what great service we got for days. :)”

“Brunch was awesome! Don’t miss out on the french onion frittata, it was so unique and extremely delicious. Prepared perfectly. I also tried their prickly pear bellini and wish I could have ten more. Anna was my server and was such bright energy for my brunch experience thank you. Thank you to all the staff for a genuine and positive experience.”

“Please forgive me some context: 11 is a special number for my wife and I. October 11, 11 years ago was our first date at Gemini. A year to the day after, we got engaged and again had dinner at Gemini. Of course, we had to come back for the special 11th anniversary of our first date! To say that the entire staff here made a special night that much more special is an understatement. Special shoutouts to Tom, Zach, our server Anna, Megan, and Juan (sorry if I misspelled!)! They prepared a special booth for us complete with roses, had printed a copy of their menu from that fateful day 11 years ago (we remembered exactly what we had ordered), printed congratulatory current menus, a special note, gifted us with special champagne, served a wonderful meal, and followed up with another copy of that older menu that had been signed with such kind notes from some of the staff. It was like love on a plate. We are so thankful that our story is intertwined with such thoughtful, wonderful, and kind people! Go here, eat here, get to know the staff, then come back; you won't regret it!”

“I've been to Gemini two or three times. The menu is small with few standouts, particularly given the price: Lincoln Park-upscale. The food is well-executed. The Sunday special fried chicken was very crispy and had good flavor. My Super Green Vegetable salad ($17) came with an excessive amount of red pepper flakes, making it too spicy. Pistachios are a strange touch to an otherwise solid salad. Chicken breast add-on (+$8) was decent enough. I was disappointed by the dessert, however. It's not made in house (last I heard, open to correction) and was far too small. Ahi tataki ($39) got decent reviews from my dinner-mate, and the burger with fries was 'very good' ($21). One serving of fries was crispy; the other was soggy. The Parker House Rolls appetizer ($7) was disappointing for the price and size, as was the Little Gem salad ($16) Gemini is a restaurant for a place and time. I give them four stars. If I could, I'd lean towards three-and-a-half stars for price and my gripes with their menu, but I think a review serves as a better warning than a lower-starred review that damages rankings. --- You go, and you feel that it was fancy, and you maybe had a cocktail or two. Was it worth your time, money, and weight? I'm not so sure. It's 'good for groups' in that there is 'something for everyone'; so if you have a group of people who want to go out to dinner, Gemini is a fine place to go. Read the other reviews and you'll see why people like it. Fun cocktails and good service go a long way in some people's book. I think the reviewers are conflating 'having a good time' with 'is a good restaurant.' So if a memorable anniversary is what you're after and you're going to get a nice bottle of wine (because it's a nice bottle of wine) and the steak (because it's a steak), sure, go to Gemini. If you are looking for a good meal, a special dish, or whatever else, maybe try somewhere else.”

“Had a very nice lunch there today with my daughter and son-in-law… The food was great as was the service… But please do better when it comes to your sweeteners for your coffees… Get rid of white refined sugar and replace it with raw sugar, And there should be Stevia in there and quite frankly in my humble opinion you should get rid of the Equal. So other than the sweeteners from Circa 1985 everything was very good.”
