“Loved the gyro tacos, whipped feta, and had Great falafel tacos for the vegetarians in the group.”

“Lovely little spot for shawarma, wraps, and salads. Everything is fresh and delicious. The pretty salad had just the right amount of salty feta, acidic dressing, and pop from the pomegranate seeds, very refreshing. The chicken on the chicken tacos was succulent and seared just enough, and the sauce worked perfectly. All of this inside of a warm space hosted by friendly people. Recommend Evette’s!”

“A friend recommended I try Evette’s for lunch and the recommendation did not disappoint. We came for brunch and had 6 tacos. I had the halloumi tacos and my partner had the shawarma tacos. Bother were fantastic. The seasonings were on point and the parsley chimichurri was bright and fresh. The garlic feta fries with Evette’s famous pink mayo was also amazing. We will definitely be coming back again.”

“Had an amazing meal at Evette’s! The garlic feta fries were absolutely delicious—crispy, flavorful, and the perfect start to our meal. For the main course, we tried the chicken shawarma, and it did not disappoint. Tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The location itself is charming—clean, cozy, and welcoming. Highly recommend this spot for anyone in the area!”

“So incredible. I’m from the Palestinian diaspora in Lebanon and this hits every spot from home. The shawarma is perfectly cooked and charred/caramelized with amazing flavor and tenderness. All of the flavors pair so well together. My only regret is not coming here sooner when I first heard about it.”

“Shawarma bowl was good and had an interesting composition of chicken, couscous, salad and fries. Garlic sauce is exceptional. Feta fries are also very good. Only downside is limited outdoor space - but atmosphere inside is fun and unique.”

“If you’re in the Lincoln Park area of Chicago, you HAVE to try this place, the Shwarma here is amazing and the Halloumi blew my MIND”

“Came here earlier for lunch and my girlfriend and I both ordered a shawarma bowl and the garlic feta fries. Every bite was super flavorful and worth the 30 minute trip. The Zab’s hot sauce was very good with the bowl as well. This place was very cozy, even on a rainy day. I will definitely come back!”

“Evette’s has great shawarma but their brunch is great and this was my first time having breakfast. The brunch pit was stuffed with eggs, sausage, cheese and sauces. It was really great and HUGE. It was so heavy. You could even split it. The waffle has browns and delicious too.”

“Everything is delicious and the fries are UNREAL. Definitely try them. Loved the flaky pita too”
