Ada Street — among the best bar & grill in Lincoln Park. Good cocktails round out an already strong menu, and handles groups well. "The lamb ribs were rich, tender, and hard to resist, even with the salmon still to come" — Pj08

“We loved the ambiance and music selection”
Came in at 10:25 and waited at the bar until 10:32 when the bartender decided to stop talking with her friends and address us .

“Everything was absolutely delicious.”
Everything was absolutely delicious. They were very nice and accommodating with allergies. The branzino was tasty, but be ready that it's a whole fish with the head. I still enjoyed it but was initially surprised. I loved the sauces it came with, especially the green. The orange wine was a nice dry delicious treat. The espresso martini is also nice, not too sweet and it goes down smooth. We also had the brussel sprouts and carrots for appetizers. The gochujing sauce on the Brussels was perfection! We'll be back!

“Five stars all around.”
Five stars all around! Dark, moody, speakeasy vibe that is apparent the moment you see the nondescript front door. We loved the ambiance and music selection! Everything we ate was delectable. Two of us shared the Roasted Carrots, Gnocchi (which I’m still dreaming of), New York Strip, and two Doughnuts. We left stuffed and took home plenty of leftovers. Two of the dishes were heavy on the salt, but I didn’t mind. It seems to be a common occurrence that the restaurant is warm. It certainly was on the night we were there. And check the menu ahead of time. This isn’t the place to eat if you’re looking for “light” food. And that’s okay with me.

“One of the best restaurants I have eaten at in the US.”
One of the best restaurants I have eaten at in the US. Came here for a private dinner during a conference and we tried everything on the menu. REMARKABLE. The food is seasoned and cooked to perfection. This is a CAN NOT MISS when in Chicago.

“This is a hidden gem with an effortlessly cool vibe.”
This is a hidden gem with an effortlessly cool vibe. The food is outstanding creative, flavorful and perfectly portioned for sharing. Every dish feels thoughtfully crafted. The cozy, dimly lit atmosphere makes it ideal for date nights or intimate dinners with friends. Service is friendly and relaxed matching the restaurant's laid-back but classy feel. A great spot if you’re looking for a unique dining experience in a chill, stylish setting.

“Delicious food, awesome cocktails, good ambiance and friendly bartenders and servers.”
Delicious food, awesome cocktails, good ambiance and friendly bartenders and servers. The sweet potatoes, the Brussel sprouts and striped bass are some of my favorite dishes. And the French martini has a wonderful balance of tart and sweet.

“We held a baby shower for about 60 people this past Saturday at Ada St.”
We held a baby shower for about 60 people this past Saturday at Ada St. They did such a fabulous job. The setting is so unique and cool, the staff is creative, attentive, professional and flexible, and the food and drinks were to die for! The sliders were particularly fabulous as was the mocktail (aptly named “Rubber Duckie”). The cost of the event was also reasonable given it was a prime summer weekend in a really cool spot. I cannot recommend Ada St more for a private event. Would 100% recommend!

“Great food, wonderful service, and a really cool entrance.”
Great food, wonderful service, and a really cool entrance. My lady and I enjoyed the drinks as well. The Brioche Donut is excellent. The chef even gave us an extra order for my lady and I. Will be returning in the future

“I had reserved their small private room for my reunion.”
I had reserved their small private room for my reunion. Communication was great from the beginning to end and the restaurant was very accommodating to allergies. Everyone in my group loved the food and atmosphere. Our server, Michael, was wonderful and enhanced the dining experience. My group said they would definitely return for our next reunion. Favorite dishes were the gnocchi, roasted carrots, and escarole insalata. The private event dining is very reasonably priced. My only recommendation is for a bit more lighting in the private room.

“I love this spot for a quick cocktail.”
I love this spot for a quick cocktail. I always seem to have *just* enough time for 1-2 but not for a full meal. BUT, based on my drink experience, I highly recommend 15/10 for a space to drink, chat, snack. *Will update this review once I have a chance to eat here!

“Definitely worth a visit to Ada Street.”
Definitely worth a visit to Ada Street! Cool location and patio. We liked the gnocchi the most - it melted in your mouth and the touch of lemon was perfect. The NY strip and carrots with feta were tasty as well. Great service and cocktails were a cherry on top!
