Ada Street
Ada Street — among the best bar & grill in Lincoln Park. Good cocktails round out an already strong menu, and handles groups well. "The lamb ribs were rich, tender, and hard to resist, even with the salmon still to come" — Pj08 [$$, patio]

“The best experience I’ve ever had. Every bite was delicious savory.. words cannot describe it to its fullest potential. Loved it!!!”

“Had the delicious af gnocchi and the mussels pasta. Absolutely wonderful ambience with the detail to lighting and layout.”

“Cozy little restaurant that feels like a speakeasy with a cool ambiance with amazing cocktails and food. You need to make a reservation as the place is so small and fills up very quickly. We came on a Saturday night before a show at the Salt Shed. You have to order all at once but the menu is pretty small so it's not too hard. I'd recommend the eggplant appetizer (5/5), the hot pita bread and dip were great. For an entree I'd order the garlic gnocchi, (5/5)one of my favorites I've ever had, and the spicy vodka pasta(5/5) was also an unbelievable dish. We also had the black friend rice (4/5) and the pork ribs (5/5). We ate almost everything and I think 5 dishes for 5 people is more than enough, and we are big eaters! Last but not least the cocktails... I loved the espresso martini, Manhattan, and bourbon smash I'd order again. Very unique spot and cannot wait to be back before a show at salt shed.”

“I did not get any photos of the food but it is truly rare that everything that comes out is good. We had a group of 4 and got every small plate and every pasta. The french onion agnolotti was actually incredible”

“First time here. And as a first timer you tend to be afraid of trying new things especially when it comes to comfort zone. But this place did not disappoint. I appreciate it a Google Recommended, because it is well deserve to be here. From ambiance , to food to service. Did NOT disappoint.”

“Ada Street is now in our top dining options. We experienced amazing service, fantastic food and an overall hard to beat experience! Lamb ribs, gnocchi and veggie options were a huge hit, on top of the craft cocktails!”

“Loved everything about the unique place. Salad and eggplant were wonderful. Fried rice and branzino superb. Donut was divine. Thanks.”

“This is the perfect little date night spot. It's pretty reasonabley priced for the city and the quality is incredible.”

“Delicious! Very good date night spot. It’s got the aesthetic of a speakeasy and the vibes of a jazz bar. The menu is short but packed with flavor and variety. The gnocchi was so amazing I’ve never had little gnocchi pillows melt in my mouth before!! I even asked to keep the plate so I could use the little bit of leftover sauce to dip the other parts of the meal in. The fish was so interesting because it’s rare now they plate the whole fish but it was looking at me and it was so tasty too. It was fun to dine in the low light as well! Very good service.”

“Everything was absolutely delicious. They were very nice and accommodating with allergies. The branzino was tasty, but be ready that it's a whole fish with the head. I still enjoyed it but was initially surprised. I loved the sauces it came with, especially the green. The orange wine was a nice dry delicious treat. The espresso martini is also nice, not too sweet and it goes down smooth. We also had the brussel sprouts and carrots for appetizers. The gochujing sauce on the Brussels was perfection! We'll be back!”

“Five stars all around! Dark, moody, speakeasy vibe that is apparent the moment you see the nondescript front door. We loved the ambiance and music selection! Everything we ate was delectable. Two of us shared the Roasted Carrots, Gnocchi (which I’m still dreaming of), New York Strip, and two Doughnuts. We left stuffed and took home plenty of leftovers. Two of the dishes were heavy on the salt, but I didn’t mind. It seems to be a common occurrence that the restaurant is warm. It certainly was on the night we were there. And check the menu ahead of time. This isn’t the place to eat if you’re looking for “light” food. And that’s okay with me.”
