my gf and i went here for a happy hour date. we were taken aback by the stunning views of the sunset and the lakefront. the glass walls and ceilings let you see every color of the sky. once the sun sets, you’re surrounded by city lights. we enjoyed delish espresso martinis for $10 and our waiter Abe was delightful! 🌇⚡️🍸

We had a birthday celebration here. The staff were so very nice and overly accommodating. Such a relaxed atmosphere. We enjoyed the flourless chocolate cake and cheesecake. Very wonderful. So sad that they had no coffee. We all wanted coffee! Lovely view!

This is one of the best rooftop spots in Chicago, offering incredible views of Lincoln Park, the zoo, and the downtown skyline. The menu is small but the food is excellent, and the cocktails are crafted really well. The staff is warm and welcoming, which makes the overall experience very enjoyable.

The view was beautiful . Charlie was the best! He was very accommodating & made sure we were well taken care of. We wanted to sit outside but the seats were a little wet & he made sure to get dry replacement cushions for us. Best service I’ve received, he was the absolute best & sweetest.

“I loved the vibes, the view, and the pancakes.”

I loved the vibes, the view, and the pancakes! We came around lunchtime and were seated quickly. Our server was kind and attentive. The waffle did take quite a while to arrive but they were so good it made me forget that. An immediate yes! 10/10. The sun was shining and we as a group had a good time!

Four of us went to the J Parker rooftop on the Lincoln Hotel for Drinks prior to dinner down the street. What a lovely atmosphere coming off the elevator to windows and an open-air bar setting with plenty of seating. The space is curated to feel homey while stunning. Drinks are slightly higher priced but absolutely worth it for the views. We did not eat the food but it looked amazing and planning to come back to try the small bites!

My first time here (friends had been before) -- great location and pretty nice views. Drinks are slightly above avg (16-18), but that's normal for a place with a view like this. Food was decently priced and was a good sized serving -- one b'fast skillet easily fed two of us. If you're a bigger eater you could probably finish your own. If you know you want to go I'd advise a reservation, but we managed to walk in and get immediately seated on a Sunday morning -- it filled up fast after though. Would definitely go back. I'm revising my review re: service because after attempting to make a reservation for another visit for nine people, no one contacted us. Our first attempt was a full week prior to the date we were looking at, and we followed the instructions for a party that size by calling the restaurant and leaving a message. When we didn't hear back after a couple days, we emailed them as well --- no response. We tried calling later that week and again got no response so we gave up and went someplace else. Sad.

This is a great place to chill. Food is great and views are very nice. I love the atmosphere and also i wish i could try drinks with alcohol but i’m only 20. They all look very good though. Definitely recommend coming at night.

I had my wedding at J Parker last month and I still can not get over how perfect the entire evening was. The staff was SO attentive and really cared about making sure that our guests (and myself + groom) were always taken care of. I had guests tell me that the servers / bartenders had their drink orders memorized and would just bring them out to them when they saw an empty glass. I didn’t actually even order a drink from the bar the entire night because my glass was always full lol! On top of the tremendous service, the food was displayed beautifully and tasted amazing. No one left hungry that is for sure. I’m so glad we chose the J Parker to celebrate such a monumental day and they lived up to every expectation and BEYOND. Thank you J Parker crew!! We will be back!
