I can’t say enough good things about my experience at Tala House. The staff were friendly and warm, the food was some of the best I’ve ever had, and the ambiance was absolutely perfect. I chatted with other diners, all devout regulars, and I anticipate I’ll follow suit. Alexa and Carlos treated me like a princess and accommodated every request I made. Truly an incredible meal I won’t soon forget and started craving the second I paid the bill. My photos don’t do it justice but this meal was perfect.

We hosted our rehearsal dinner here, and it was beyond our expectations! The owner, Ash, and our server, Carlos, who we’ve known since they opened, went above and beyond to make our dinner unforgettable. The flower décor was stunning, and the personalized menu they created for us was perfect—every dish was delicious, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food and service. The beautiful cake they made in-house was not only gorgeous but absolutely delicious, and the smoky cocktails were such a fun and unexpected touch! Ash and the entire team treat everyone like family—so warm, welcoming, and genuine. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place to celebrate. Highly recommend for any special occasion or simply a wonderful night out!

Although they were not able to seat us at the reserved time, they more than made up with their food and service. The staff was attentive and apologetic, offered multiple delicious appetizers for the delay. Their menu is creative with flavors from many countries of origin. We had the black cod, enchiladas, halibut, and skirt steak for dinner, all uniquely flavored and delicious. We barely had room for dessert but ordered their cheesecake and strawberry shortcake with pistachio mouse to-go, all winners.

Tala House on North Clark Street has quickly become one of my favorite spots! The place has such a warm and welcoming vibe, and the staff always make you feel at home. Moe, the manager, goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is taken care of, which really adds a personal touch. The food is absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every dish I’ve tried has been spot on, the portions are generous, and their dessert selection is the perfect way to end the meal. Prices are super reasonable for the quality, which makes it even better. Whether you’re grabbing a casual meal or going out with family and friends, this is the kind of place you’ll want to keep coming back to.

Our first visit to this restaurant took place in May 2025. We were on the lookout for a spot to celebrate my spouse's birthday and happened to stroll by Tala. To our surprise, we managed to get a table without a reservation! That experience was truly remarkable! We savored "skate wing" as our main dish, along with several other delights. Fast forward to today, August 2nd, 2025, we decided to return to celebrate my birthday! Wow! This time was just as incredible, if not better! Our main courses included halibut and filet mignon. The experience was simply divine-who knew we could feel such joy in our bellies? Even after indulging in dessert, we were still basking in that euphoric afterglow. Since the menu changes with the seasons, what you enjoy today might not be available tomorrow, but rest assured it will be a fantastic experience. So, if you're thinking about trying this place, be sure to make a reservation. When you arrive, ask for Carlos and let him know you heard about it from a customer who raved about Tala House!
