“Food from the island. A little peace of Puerto Rico goes a long way. Friendly staff and great food. Always have my favorites on deck. Highly recommend for take out, but there is a small dining area. They need a spot in suburbs.”

“I’ve ate from many Puerto Rican restaurants and I must admit, this is the BEST Puerto Rican food in the United States that I have tried. Amazing flavor, everything is hot and fresh. Not once have I been disappointed coming here.”

“This was my first time here and I'll definitely be back. I bought about $30 worth of food. Lechon, pastel , rice and a few other things. The lechon was very juicy and taste great, the pastel the same. The rice was very good as well. I had a few questions being my first time there and the cashier did a great job of answering.”

“Love love this place 💟 food is ALWAYS fresh and good service and the pricing is unbelievable What?? 20 bucks for all of this no way!!!!”

“Can't speak on the atmosphere bc I ordered through Uber. This was my first time trying this restaurant. What a find! Definitely need to try in person. I can only imagine how much better it would be. We ordered 2 different kinds of alcapurrias, mofongo con carne Frita, mondongo, cuchifrito con guineo and parcha juice. Not only were the prices reasonable for the amount of food and the fact that is was ordered through a delivery service everything was fresh and delicious. No complaints whatsoever!”

“Had dinner here with the honey and food was good but alot of fruit flies all over the place”

“I used to come here a lot. When people would come to visit Chicago, I’d bring them here. Not anymore, ever again. Bought $90 worth of food for my family’s dinner. The rice was raw, my Jibarito was dry because they forgot to put mojo de ajo on it, the Bacalaito had LARGE chunks of soggy onions, the arroz with gandules was BLAND, and the carne frita was extra extra salty. I live 45 minutes away so I couldn’t go back. I called the restaurant and the younger lady told me all she could do was to give me new rice on another day or refund me the rice. I told her no thank you because that would mean I’d have to order more food to eat with the rice and the refund would not make a difference. Forget it. Never again.”

“The price is ridiculous. Now I just came two weeks ago and the alcapurries We’re 1.75 About a year ago, they were still at 1.25 But to be at 2.50 with no flavor is a ripper I usually come in here and buy for three people to alcapurries Each and a pincho each the pincho Has regular barbecue sauce Not the Puerto Rican one I was disappointed with the whole meal before I even knew the price I’ve been coming here for years and they just lost me for good I can give a -20 stars I would Even the Ponce of Fullerton isn’t this much and they have more flavor”
“One of my favorite spots. Always take the drive to go there. I like the customer service, the acapurias, and P.R rice.”
“The service was absolutely amazing! I wish I would have gotten the waitress’s name because she deserves the recognition. She was rocking the front by herself on Easter Sunday around 7pm! Anyways, first time here and MY GOD am I glad my boyfriend and I decided to make the drive here. My dad is from Ponce so that’s what called my attention along with the reviews and mouthwatering photos. The flavors DID NOT disappoint! We tried a little bit of everything and DEFINITELY got a box to go for leftovers. They do catering of large platters as well so we’re definitely going to be coming back for events! Great job, Ponce Place! Y'all did that! 🫶🏼👌🏼😱”
