“The best Mexican food I've had in years.”

The best Mexican food I've had in years! Three of us for dinner and we all loved everything. Chicken mole, chicken jalisco and steak chimichanga, guacamole, diet coke and the best coconut flan I've ever had, prices very reasonable and the place was immaculate, husband said even the men's room was exceptional clean. I will be back and soon and I 100% recommend that you try it.

Hospitality on 100! Vicente was kind, warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in the door. He took his time to answer questions , describe the menu items we were interested in, and he even made an effort to offer different salsas for us to try based on our preferences. Vicente not only offered this kindness to us , but every single person that walked in the door. The vibe seems very neighborly, he has regulars walking in that he knew by name and it felt like being in a real local spot. The food was BOMB! 10/10 recommend if you’re looking for a small business to support and for good customer service.

I went with my bff around 8p. The moment we walked in we felt acknowledged and welcomed. Vicente is an amazing host and knows how to make you feel at home and part of the family. The vases on the tables are beautiful! The food is amazing! From the chips and sauces to the drinks to the entrees. Hot, fresh and authentic. Absolutely delicious. All around, a 10/10. Will definitely be back. Thank you Vicente, for everything!

Delicious!!! Ordered the Quesabirria and Torta de Pastor, and we were more than satisfied. The pastor was sweet and savory with actual pineapple unlike lots of other places. The bread for the torta was also nice and fluffy. Quesabirria and the broth were sweet, tender, and flavorful, the meat just melts in your mouth. Also ordered the horchata which was sweet and refreshing. Would definitely eat here again. Even though we were ordering for takeout we were also given a complimentary chips and salsa, and cucumber Agua fresco. The green salsa is made with zucchini and was delicious. A big thank you to Vicente for his amazing service and attention. We genuinely felt welcomed and cared for. And we will definitely be back. If you're looking for quality Mexican food and quesabirria In Portage Park this is definitely a spot to check out.

This place is definitely slept on! The food is amazing the service is just as amazing and I definitely love the vibe there! The shrimp ceviche was so damn good I love how they gave it a smokey but refreshing flavor, it's absolutely a must try, the steak sincronizada es also very good! The steak seasoned to perfection for me all the ingredients tasted fresh and full of flavor! Salsa was delicious the Red had a smokey tang flavor and was a the more spicy salsa the green has like this amazing lime creaminess flavor you just have to try! It's been a while since I found a Mexican restaurant that I like on this side of town and this right her is a hit with me!

The service is fantastic; the owner, Vicente, ensures your experience is of the highest quality and all staff are welcoming and create an overall great atmosphere. Very warm and hospitable service with excellent food! I was welcomed enthusiastically by the owner, and my server was very attentive and generous with the chips and salsa. Both my taco al pastor and torta carne asada were super flavorful, and I especially loved that the onions on the taco were the pickled purple kind ☺️ I didn’t realize the avocado on my torta would be an extra $4.50 charge, but that was probably on me for not double checking when the server asked if I wanted it. All in all, looking forward to coming back and supporting this new local business!

Really good authentic New Mexican restaurant. The place is cute and cozy and the staff is really nice. They treated us to a free mini burrito to start and delicious churros. Definitely recommend!
