Kurimu wicker park — clean, consistent desserts in Noble Square. Contemporary look with thoughtful details. They're doing something different, and it works, and open late. Naomi Easley: "The ice cream was creamy and rich"

“I had a scoop of ramune for my Miffy cone, and my kid wanted it to look more like Miffy, so she stayed with vanilla”
I love choice and soft serves but for Love of God .
The soft serve is great quality but the staff and even owner have the nastiest attitudes when being asked simple questions.
The ice cream here is good enough that you almost forget the atmosphere. Almost.

“Katherine was awesome.”
Katherine was awesome! The quality of everything is fantastic and they don’t rush even when they’re busy. Clearly well made high quality ingredients. Loved everything I’ve tried!

“Nice Asian dessert spot in wicker park.”
Nice Asian dessert spot in wicker park! We each tried different ice creams (matcha KitKat, black sesame) which all were quite tasty! I like that they have interesting flavors and weren’t too sweet. They have some fun decor in the dessert shop, which is always nice for the atmosphere. I’d come back to try more flavors!

“Such a yummy spot for sweet treats.”
Such a yummy spot for sweet treats! We’ve tried the pandan/ube swirl, durian, ramune flavors and they are so good! Durian is definitely a hit or miss for some people. I personally really liked it, but you can find that out for yourself! I’d recommend! (The photo was after we already ate like half, the portion is huge!)

“This is my favorite ice cream shop in the city.”
This is my favorite ice cream shop in the city. They have the most unique rotating flavors of both ice cream and cones. Some stand out flavors are purple yam, and espresso chip. I also like the soft serve a lot, always something new to try. Not the cheapest ice cream cone in town, but definitely one of the best.

“Cute ice cream shop with many varieties which you can’t find elsewhere.”
Cute ice cream shop with many varieties which you can’t find elsewhere. My favorite is their black sesame and mango sticky rice. Hands down the best black sesame ice cream I’ve had. Boba tea is a must order, I love the texture of their boba. I also brought one of their collab key chain currently happening with Line Friends. Thanks to their staff who told me they have black sesame ice cream!!

“I wish we knew of this place sooner.”
I wish we knew of this place sooner. Last year, they had a Snoopy and the Peanuts Gang theme. The ice cream flavors are unique and not your ordinary flavors like purple yam, black sesame, and Ramune. My kid and I both got the Miffy cone. It's basically one scoop of ice cream in a light waffle cone. It's decorated with thin candy dots for eyes and an x for her nose. Two sugar cookie wafer ears completes the look. I had a scoop of ramune for my Miffy cone, and my kid wanted it to look more like Miffy, so she stayed with vanilla. My hubby had 2 scoops in a cup, one of the purple yam and the other blueberry cheesecake. My hubby said the blueberry cheesecake has a strong blueberry flavor, which is a nice change for us. We have had a few from other places with only a mild blueberry flavor. If you like unique flavors, give this place a try. Staff is friendly and if you can't decide they will give you some wonderful recommendations.

“I have the BEST time exploring hidden spots while walking around in Chicago.”
I have the BEST time exploring hidden spots while walking around in Chicago. This was such a little surprise that I COULD NOT RESIST They had all my favorite flavors 🤤🤤🤤: black sesame durian Thai green tea matcha lychee pearl mango purple yam sweet corn After moving from Hong Kong to Chicago and having traveled to Japan & Thailand maybe 10+ times (they were 5 hours away from HK), I always crave unique Asian flavors 🌸 everywhere I go in Chicago This was SUCH a great spot ! The flavors were super rich & creamy, not too sweet Matcha + boba was awesome Pineapple swirl soft serve was Soo tart and tasty I love how you can add boba and mochi + try their Kurimu Silver swirl or messy boba options with cone or cup. Knowing myself, I had to get a cup, otherwise we would drop it everywhere 😂 They also have a lot of cool partnerships like recently with Bang Bang Pie or Snoopy as shown 📍 KURIMU Wicker Park location: 1632 w division Street, Chicago IL 60622 Others: Lincoln Park, UOC, Little Italy
