This is a video screenshot of my food I ordered through uber eats the food was still hot when I got it everything was a 10/10 and is now my favorite hibachi place I even got the yum yum sauce which was good as well I’ll definitely be ordering here again and would recommend this place to anybody not to mention the prices are good and they give a good portion size enough for two people

“We rented out the space for a private graduation party.”

We rented out the space for a private graduation party. It was perfect. The food was cooked great and spread out for us catering style to self-serve. Prices were reasonable for our group and included various protein options (steak, chicken, and shrimp). The spicy sauce was especially spicy, which I like. Would def visit again.

This was my first time at this location saw this guy on Facebook doing a review there and I seen the food and it looked great taste good and all will recommend to all. And went back today 6/7/25 was o good but wasn’t given no type of spoons or forks or napkins or chop sticks , today spent $126 .

I’ve visited this location a few times now and I haven’t been disappointed yet. I usually do take out and eat while I’m at work. It still tastes good after reheating. This establishment is definitely on my top 5 list of hibachi restaurants in Chicago. I’m my opinion, it is way better than Benihana which is not even on my list. That says a lot based on the comparison of restaurant reviews.

If you haven’t catered from Koto, you should. I had the daunting task of deciding what food to have for our company potluck. I went to Koto for lunch & thought, here’s an idea! I pitched it to the committee & they said yes. When I got there the staff was patient, courteous & helpful. They encouraged me to complete my catering order online & I did just that. I received a confirmation quickly with a set time for pickup. I got there at 11a, my food was ready to go. They individually wrapped & labeled each sauce squeeze bottle (6) & loaded my order in my car. I put the food in woks at work & they loved it! We discussed our favorite sauce combinations (mine being; ginger & spicy teriyaki) so good! Staff raved & thanked me for the selection of chicken, veggies, noodles & fried rice. The smell of the food permeated in the hall. The following day staff repeated how much they enjoyed the food. Thank you for making our event memorable.

I AM PISSED OFF. I am missing parts of my order. I literally just ordered today 10/25/24 and I am missing my lobster, no add on noodles and all sauces that I paid for. I will be calling first thing in the morning when they open to rectify this. UPDATE: I went back to the restaurant and they took good care of me. They were very apologetic and understanding. Not only did they give me my missing items hot and fresh, they gave me another Koto Combo and a gift card for another time. I will definitely be back! Thank you so much!!

Look, the food was amazing but the atmosphere was even better. Very clean and welcoming environment. The service was great, friendly and food came quickly. I got the Oki roll which was made perfect, as well as the steak add shrimp hibachi bowl! You won’t want to go anywhere else in the Chicagoland area for hibachi, guarantee. The portions are also very large, which is great!

Great food and service! 10/5/24 Update: So I have been coming to Koto since they opened up and I know there are other hibachi games in town but this has been the most consistent for me. I had an absolutely fantastic hibachi meal today that was packed with flavor and freshness. The dish featured perfectly seasoned grilled shrimp and tender salmon, cooked medium, which had a delightful crisp on the outside while being moist on the inside. This temperature was perfect because I did take out so by time I got home it was still very moist and not dry at all. The sautéed vegetables, including crisp bell peppers, onions, and broccoli, added a fresh crunch. Every bite was better than the last and the spicy teriyaki sauce was a great suggestion for the meal. The host Ariel was super cool and made the order experience quick and easy for me. This meal was not only delicious but also filling - they didnt skimp on the meat. Personally this will continue to be my go to spot for hibachi

“Best hibachi I have ever tasted!!”

Best hibachi I have ever tasted!!! I grabbed the steak bowl lunch special and it was more than enough food. Seasoned and cooked to perfection. Staff was very friendly. Establishment was very clean. No complaints at all.
