“There was a lot of seafood inside and it was delicious”
The metropolitan Chicago is in no shortage of Korean BBQ restaurants.
Disappointing Experience Ruined by Sneaky Automatic Gratuity and Arrogant Management Came here with a group of 7 for Korean BBQ – the food was decent, but the entire experience was completely soured by their undisclosed 20% automatic gratuity on a $450 pre-tax bill, adding a whopping $90 without a single mention anywhere.

“My friends and I visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday.”
My friends and I visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday. It's cozy and clean, the meat was fresh, delicious, and tender. The service was top-notch. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back many times. Thanks to our server, he taught us how to cook the meat and then cooked it for us himself. I'm a huge fan of Korean cuisine now.

BBQ was very solid but the fried rice at the end was the best we've had at kbbq. It was spicy and SO full of flavor. The fried rice is definitely a must order.

This is by far the best Korean BBQ spot I have ever been to. Went with friends, two of which are Korean, and they were blown away. The highest quality meats, every side was delicious, and the atmosphere and service were fantastic. Absolutely outstanding. Thank you so much!

“Delicious food and friendly staff.”
Delicious food and friendly staff. We had the sampler to try a little bit of everything plus the seafood pancake. Servers were patient and helpful with how to cook the food properly. Next time we'd know what to order!

“Hands down the best Korean bbq spot in the Chicagoland.”
Hands down the best Korean bbq spot in the Chicagoland! Jin Soo Korean Bbq is worth every bite. The food quality is literally as good is it is in Korea according to my standards. The service is also top notch! They check in on you often! And the atmosphere is very modern and open! If you have to try any Korean bbq stop in Chicago Jin Soo Korean Bbq is the spot for you to go to. Way better than Cho Sun Ok!

Ive been to many KBBQ places in the Chicagoland area and this by far has been my absolute favorite. Everything is 1000/10. The workers are so kind and helpful. Every side dish was delicious and the meats were divine ! I came twice in one weekend and can’t wait to come back again. Won’t be going anywhere else but here. We did the Jin soo sung special. Worth every penny super delicious!

“BEST new korean bbq in Chicago, that I actually agree.”
BEST new korean bbq in Chicago, that I actually agree. Lets start with small details why this place is the best. 1. Gyeran-jjim that is served as complimentary. Im going to say this is the best gyeran jjim, better than any bars or korean restaurants that serves this dish. Most of places fail with the fire temperature, so you are left with burnt scraps most of the time. This is my 4th time here already and each time, I havent had that burnt taste or left with huge scrapts left in a pot. Also very nice touch at the top with scallion, sesame oil, carrot and fish egg, which most of places dont do. 2. Really like their scallion, lettuce mix with that spicy sauce. Most of other places will have onions, and because of that, usually contains soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil that makes this salad with a lot of liquids. But here, lettuce and scallions are fresh, as no liquid involved. Its crunchy and spicy, serves as better complimentary at least for me. 3. Quality of meat. I mean it shows on the picture. Nice marbling just shows. I personally really like marinated pork rib, it tastes like I'm in korea. Marination and flavor are definitely the closest I have had in korea. 4. Dipping sauce. They have 4 different sauce, wasabi salt, chimichurri, ssamjang and ponzu. I dont think chimichurri really fits the flavor profile, but other 3 are excellent. It is on the expensive side, but its well worth it. I just hope the quality doesn't change!!

“Came in here on a Saturday night with two others, parking was EASY and spacious.”
Came in here on a Saturday night with two others, parking was EASY and spacious. The ambiance is easily the cleanest feeling Korean BBQ restaurant in Chicago area. Not too dark, and obnoxious with kPop screens everywhere. VERY FAMILY friendly vibe! We all loved the tasteful decor and dividers but didn’t feel too closed off from the rest of the restaurant vibe. The food was delicious and well presented. Loved the seafood pancake, they put whole mussel pieces in there, which I found out later from the chef it’s all hand made and fresh every day. The egg soufflé is amazing. For meats, I loved the Kalbi and Chadol. Their cold spicy noodles were really flavorful, and even though really red, it wasn’t too spicy or too sweet. We got the volcano fried rice at the end to finish off the meal, and was a nice touch. Too full for dessert or anything else this time but I’ll definitely be back and HIGHLY recommend to anyone who wants a clean, legit Korean BbQ experience that is JUST GOOD FOOD, and elegant ambiance.
